Student answer (Band 6.0)

The perspective about women has changed in various communities from last 5 decades. However, these communities claim to don't get their willing gender equality. Personally, I partially agree with this statement because nevertheless this not the case for many societies. but, feminine doing more than expected

On the one hand, Numerous societies does not accept females doing jobs outside their homes. For example, In India it is usual to see people belongs to rural areas living in cities behaving unusually with ladies. In order to show dominance over their wives also they are not allowed to work. In recent times authorities regulated a survey to look this kind of well-being done to women. And they implement a law to give power to women so they can work with any pressure from their family.

On the other hand, In major cities like Delhi, Noida, Chandigarh etc. Women are not seen like this anymore. Furthermore, this also depends on the preference and financial situation of individuals. For instance, mostly husbands tend to provide every possible comfort and overwhelming place to their loved ones. But because of their financial situation their wives have to work.

In my opinion gender does not matter in order to do work. If person is willing to do work, then they can do in any situation.

In summary, I would concede that it totally depends on the preference of person and forcing them to anything does not make any difference. Overall, I am convinced that everyone should work to gain experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt but lacks depth and clarity. While you acknowledge the change in women's status and the lack of full equality, your position is somewhat inconsistent. The arguments provided are under-developed; for instance, the example regarding rural India is relevant but lacks a clear connection to the broader argument about gender equality. The conclusion is vague and does not effectively synthesize the points made. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that directly supports your thesis, and provide more detailed explanations for your examples to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often disrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While you use some cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'In summary', they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately, such as starting sentences with 'But' or 'And'. The referencing is occasionally confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one. Improving the structure of your arguments will help create a more cohesive and professional essay.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms and some phrases are used incorrectly, such as 'feminine doing more than expected' or 'well-being done to women'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, which occasionally hinder the clarity of your message. To improve, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary and collocations related to social issues. Focus on using words in their correct context and avoid repeating simple terms. Expanding your range of synonyms will also help you express your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'Numerous societies does not accept'), incorrect verb forms, and awkward sentence structures. These errors are frequent and sometimes impede the reader's understanding. While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often faulty or punctuated incorrectly. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures before attempting more complex ones. Pay close attention to subject-verb agreement, article usage, and verb tenses. Proofreading your work for common errors like missing plurals or incorrect prepositions will significantly improve the accuracy and readability of your writing.
