Student answer (Band 6.0)

In so many nation women as equal to the men and has changed the position at a great deal in many communities last form the 50 years. But some societies do not achieved gender equality. The former views have more agreement than the latter views. I believe the former views as women are as equal to the men in all the fields.

To begin with, there are so many women are doing both they handle the house properly and also doing the job works in so many areas so women can also achieved ambition in there field. Furthermore, in current time most of girls population is taking education rather than boys also in some areas girls number in the pupils is higher than the boys. Additionally, government should also done the many programs for the progress of the women and they can organized the camps to conveys the parents for the proper education of the girls. For example, most of the companies have the women CEO and she mange the all the problems of the companies and boys are the employs.

Besides this, many of the communities believes that there are no equality in gender because some peoples things that girls are only for the house worker and they can not doing the outside jobs they are doing partially with the gender. However, so many men have also ego that they can not she the girls success in any field and they are getting jealousy after seeing the girls success.

In conclusion, women are as equal to the men and both have the same priority at any place. In my opinion, I believe the former views that all the women have the great deal with the same position as the men in every communities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the changing position of women and the lack of full equality. However, the position is somewhat contradictory; the introduction states that societies have not achieved equality, yet the conclusion asserts that women are equal to men in every community. The ideas are relevant but lack depth and academic support. For instance, the example of a female CEO is a good starting point but is not developed into a broader argument about systemic barriers. The response tends to over-generalize, and the arguments regarding government programs and societal attitudes are presented in a simplistic manner, which limits the overall development of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In so many nation' and 'The former views' are used awkwardly, and the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. While there is a logical progression from the introduction to the body paragraphs and conclusion, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow of ideas is hindered by repetitive sentence structures and a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect arguments effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good', 'doing', and 'things'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'doing the job works', 'conveys the parents', and 'mange the all the problems'. These errors occasionally make the meaning difficult to grasp. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'gender equality' and 'ambition', the range is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To improve, the student needs to focus on using more varied and accurate collocations and academic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('women are as equal to the men', 'most of girls population is taking'), incorrect verb forms ('government should also done'), and missing articles. The sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at complex sentences are often faulty, leading to confusion. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with errors in capitalization and sentence boundaries. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high density of errors throughout the text significantly impacts the clarity and accuracy of the writing.
