Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is widely believed that the position of women has improved significantly in many societies over the last 50 years. However, some other argue that complete gender equality has still not been achieved. I completely agree with this view because despite considerable progress, women continue to face inequality in several aspect of life.
The primary reason why I agree is that women play a vital role in our society as there many positions they have achieved and succeed. Women have a great part of success in education as well as in the social roles. There are more proffessionalism than any other gender that finds many opportunities such as doctors, teacher, prime minister. For example Indira Gandhi was the first lady prime minister of India and done several a major role to run the nation. As of her now she had encouraged many women to be part of politics as well in the army.
The societies had still not adopted women respect while achieving many success than other, as they contribute major things to the society as they have fewer women in the top management positions. There is always an insecurity percieved in the society for discrimination in hiring or promotions. The most important point is greater household responsibilities placed on women in many societies.
In conclusion, women empowerment is important in this world to encourage women. The negative impact have to changed in the societies for gender equality as women have greater achievements with passion to persue anything in the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention professional achievements and household responsibilities, the arguments lack depth and specific analysis. For instance, the paragraph regarding Indira Gandhi is slightly disjointed and does not fully connect to the broader argument about systemic gender inequality. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported point that directly relates to the prompt's requirement to discuss why gender equality has not yet been achieved.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'However' and 'For example', but the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical. Some transitions feel abrupt, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between professional success and the example of Indira Gandhi is not entirely smooth. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'As of her now', which makes the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'significantly', 'professionalism', and 'empowerment'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'done several a major role' and 'negative impact have to changed'. These errors occasionally hinder the precision of your expression. To improve, focus on using collocations correctly and expanding your range of academic vocabulary. While your meaning is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated or precise lexical items limits your score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('some other argue', 'negative impact have to changed') and incorrect verb forms ('succeed' instead of 'succeeded', 'persue' instead of 'pursue'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, pay closer attention to verb tenses and pluralisation. Increasing the number of error-free sentences will significantly improve your score in this area.
