Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's modern society, everyone has been living together in one place over the decades. As the time past, the changes have been made, like in women position. In majority of the societies, the position of women has changed. But the societies claim not to have achieved gender equality seems to be untrue for me.
In the digital era, people living across the world have same human rights and equality have been level out for both sexes. Women position has changed over the past 50 years. In the beginning women were seen as objects of household. Nonetheless, the women in today's world are flexible and has every right equal to men. For example, I am working in the cyber security team, it has many women who are working with me and in any fields, there are several women enrolment. Furthermore, some societies to believed not to have gender equality has misinformation which a crime in today's world. All countries have women right and, in some countries, there are special facilities for women than men. Women have been part of the societies vital organ which had helped in several ways.
In contrast, I want to conclude that, women in today's societies have equal rights as men. Around the world, every concern of the earth has active women involvement in any fields of job or service like men. Gender equality has been sustained around the world through laws and order. Despite the sex, everyone should have equality in any kind of act which can be a role like women.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited. While you provide a personal example regarding your work in cybersecurity, the argument lacks depth and fails to acknowledge the complexity of the issue. The essay tends to over-generalize, claiming that gender equality is fully achieved globally, which ignores documented social and economic disparities. To improve, you should provide more nuanced arguments that consider why some societies still struggle with inequality, rather than simply stating that equality is already a reality. The conclusion is somewhat repetitive and does not effectively synthesize the main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'In contrast', their usage is sometimes mechanical or logically inconsistent. For instance, the transition 'In contrast, I want to conclude that' is confusing because the conclusion does not actually contrast with the previous paragraph. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms and some phrases are used incorrectly, such as 'equality have been level out' and 'women have been part of the societies vital organ'. These errors, while not completely impeding communication, show a limited control over collocation and word choice. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary and ensure that your word choices are contextually appropriate and grammatically accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your writing. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the women... is flexible and has'), incorrect article usage, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'everyone has been living together in one place over the decades'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence structure and proofreading for common grammatical slips will help improve your accuracy.
