Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people believe that the position of a women has also changed a great deal in ,any societies over the past 50 years but some people believe that these societies cannot claim to have achieved gender equlity .

There are multiple benefits associated with the topic that i have to agreed about the changing of great deal in many societies for the women ,there have the some reasons that is in now a time when we locked in educational departments ,job oportunities and rights there have the many more great deals for the women as compared to over past 50 years ago ,For Example women have to much laws about the divorce situation they can legally take divorce form the men expect the 50 years ago women have no rights to take divorce any time .but now its a good facility or great right have the women.

On the other hand ,i disagreed about the opinion of those people who thought that the position of thr women have not changed .if we watch the any field then we know all the fields gave equal support and jobs and seats for the women ,fo instance ,like in the Army field of any country ,there have the lot of fields for the women ,women can fight as a fighter pilot and now they go to the war and fight for their own country .

In the conclusion ,now women can do anything at any time for their own honor and their own country .so people should to do agree about the position of the women has also chnaged over the 50 years ago.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging the changes in women's status and the ongoing debate regarding gender equality. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention education, jobs, and legal rights, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. The position is clear, but the supporting examples, such as the mention of divorce laws and the military, are presented in a simplistic manner. To improve, you should focus on providing more nuanced analysis of why gender equality remains elusive despite these advancements, rather than just listing areas where women have gained access. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'there have the some reasons' and 'for instance, like in the' are used awkwardly, which disrupts the flow of ideas. The progression between sentences is sometimes disjointed, making it difficult to follow the logical development of your argument. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'nevertheless') and ensure that referencing (using pronouns like 'this' or 'these') is clear and accurate throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic structures. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'locked in educational departments' (likely meaning 'involved in') and 'the changing of great deal'. Spelling errors are also frequent, such as 'equlity', 'oportunities', and 'chnaged'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the presence of these errors hinder the overall quality of the writing. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to sociology and gender studies, and pay closer attention to spelling and standard collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'i have to agreed', 'people should to do agree'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'there have the many more great deals'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces placed incorrectly before commas. While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, correct tense usage, and the proper use of articles to improve your accuracy.
