Student answer (Band 5.5)
Over the past five decades, the position of women has increased considerably in many societies. Apparently, women can progress in many fields, such as education, employments and political participations. In contrast, some communities have not yet been achieved equality between men and women. I largely agree with this viewpoint because women has lot of responsibilities like childcare, households and office work, despite that socities always figure out them low compare with men.
One major area of progress is education and employment. In many countires, women now have the legal rights as men to attend universities and pursue professional careers. As a result, a growing number of women work in fields that were traditionally dominated by men, such as enginerring, medical, law and technology.
Furthermore, women have become an increasingly involved in leadership and politics. For example, many countries have women minister, business leaders and senior professionals. These developments demonstrate that the position of women has improved singnificantly with the past.
Nevertheless, there are still substantial differences between men and women. In some societies, women are still expected to prioritise family responsibilities, while men are viewed as the main financial provider. Some expectations can restrict women choices and prevent them from achieving their full potential. Although laws can protect women from decrimination, changing in some communities attitude can take much longer.
To recapitulate, I largely agree that women has become significantly capable to make their position with men, and dominate them in fields, such as education, employments and political participations. By contrast, gender equality has still emphasise women growth, because some societies still expected restrict them for childcare, family responsibilites and housholds. I think that people should change their view in some prospects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, clearly stating a position that agrees with the view that gender equality has not been fully achieved. The ideas are relevant and supported by examples such as education, employment, and societal expectations. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The conclusion is slightly confusing, as the phrasing 'dominate them in fields' and 'gender equality has still emphasise women growth' is unclear and does not effectively synthesize the main arguments. To reach a higher band, ensure that the conclusion clearly restates the position and summarizes the main points without introducing confusing or contradictory language.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Nevertheless', and 'In contrast' are used to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly misused, such as the transition in the final paragraph which fails to provide a smooth summary. Referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by grammatical inaccuracies. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the internal cohesion within the concluding paragraph needs improvement to ensure the argument remains coherent and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, covering topics like 'professional careers', 'discrimination', and 'financial provider'. However, there are several spelling errors ('countires', 'enginerring', 'decrimination', 'singnificantly') and some awkward word choices, such as 'figure out them low' and 'make their position with men'. These errors do not impede overall communication, but they do limit the precision of the response. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of common academic terms and using more precise collocations to express complex ideas about social progress and gender dynamics.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('women has lot of responsibilities', 'women has become') and pluralization ('employments', 'participations'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the frequency of these grammatical slips prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, pay closer attention to basic subject-verb agreement and ensure that plural nouns are used correctly in an academic context. The majority of the content is understandable, but the errors are noticeable throughout.
