Student answer (Band 5.0)

This statement shows the position of women has changed a great deal in many societies over the past 50 years . But this society can not claim to have achieved gender equality. I am fully agreed that women have specific place in society. Here is conversation of Famennian. That society give them proper rights. The main reason is if society would give them a proper jobs or rights they can work more better then men .Moreover For example the female school principle can run the school in better version from the male. Main thing is her politeness as well as her communication style she can talk more confidently as well as men. Furthermore her understanding about the topic of behavior. Where as the men always become rude can say that their voice is harder or louder then females it seems they are fighting while talkin to others. The second reason is women are equal to the men they can do any tough job then the men. It is not easy to go for a job in noon. For intense a teacher go to school for her students she is facing all the hardships for her students. Although she do not have convince for travelling but she is doing her job very well. Any how it is not bad to give a lady chance for shine her in society. If someone go to the bank for paper work then a female employ will manage or care other female . In nutshell it is best idea to the changed position of female or give them gender equality .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt, but the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. While you state that you agree with the premise, the supporting arguments—such as the comparison between male and female school principals or the claim that women can do 'tough jobs'—are anecdotal and lack logical depth. The essay struggles to maintain a clear, academic position throughout. To improve, you should focus on providing more analytical reasons rather than personal observations, and ensure that each paragraph directly supports your central argument regarding gender equality.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction or conclusion that effectively frames the argument, and the paragraphing is non-existent, which makes the flow of ideas difficult to follow. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Furthermore', they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. The logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by disjointed sentences. To improve, you should organize your essay into clear paragraphs: an introduction, two body paragraphs with distinct points, and a conclusion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms and struggle with word choice and collocation, such as 'better version' instead of 'more effectively' or 'harder or louder' to describe communication styles. There are also instances of incorrect word forms, such as 'convince' instead of 'conveyance' or 'transportation'. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise, academic terms and focus on using words in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'she do not have'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, making them difficult to parse. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect prepositions.
