Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is true that position of women has changed a great deal in many societies over the past 50 years but these societies cannot claim to have achieved gender equality. In my opinion, some uneducated people pf society were not able to face the success of women so that's the main reason for gender equality.
Initially women's face many problems like they are not as strong/they don't have willing to do tasks as comparatively to men, this is a major problem of some society many people try to solve these problem's like Mahatma gandhi ji and a many revolution are done in past for example-: right to vote for women in New Zealand. These in equality are just rubbish, there is no doubt womens proved themselve many times in these day we mostly saw women's on higher posts in multiple national company's or some kind of civil services.
However men's are most likely to do illegal things, drinking, smoking and breaking many laws, still men's had more respect in society than women. Some people treat women's like they are just useless.Accordingly mens are nothing without women as women's mostly do all kind of house work, take care of whole family and they also take care of monthly budget of family in most of the cases still these king of discrimination accurs .
In conclusion, mens and womens must have to get equal respect in society ever womens had to get little more because they do lot more hard work than men.
Our society must had to change there presence of mind .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging the progress made in gender equality while arguing that true equality has not been reached. However, the development of ideas is limited and often relies on sweeping generalizations, such as the claim that 'men are most likely to do illegal things.' The arguments lack depth and academic rigor, often feeling more like personal opinion than a structured essay. While the position is clear, the supporting evidence is anecdotal and lacks the necessary analysis to reach a higher band. To improve, you should focus on providing more balanced, objective arguments and specific, relevant examples that directly support your main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Initially,' 'However,' 'In conclusion'), they are sometimes used incorrectly or mechanically. The transition between ideas is frequently abrupt, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. For instance, the jump from discussing historical figures to the behavior of men in the third paragraph lacks a clear logical bridge. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word formation and collocation, such as 'these king of discrimination accurs' and 'womens proved themselve.' You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use more sophisticated or academic terms effectively. Many words are misspelled or used in the wrong context, which occasionally hinders the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and practicing the correct spelling of plural forms and possessives. Expanding your range of academic vocabulary will help you express your ideas with greater precision and clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'these societies cannot claim,' 'mens are nothing'), incorrect use of apostrophes (e.g., 'problem's,' 'company's,' 'womens'), and sentence structure. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple or poorly constructed complex sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and spacing. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct subject-verb agreement, and reducing the frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation.
