Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the essay attempts to address the topic of gender equality, the arguments are underdeveloped, repetitive, and lack clear logical progression. The position is not clearly articulated or sustained throughout the essay. Many sentences are fragmented or unclear, making it difficult to follow the writer's stance on the extent of gender equality. To improve, you must ensure you write at least 250 words and provide specific, well-explained examples to support your arguments rather than relying on vague generalizations.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. While there are paragraph breaks, the internal logic within these paragraphs is weak. Cohesive devices are either missing or used incorrectly, such as the awkward transition 'To commence with' and 'To include without any doupt'. The referencing is often unclear, making it difficult to determine what the pronouns refer to. The progression of ideas is disjointed, and the lack of logical flow between sentences hinders the overall readability of the response. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would greatly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very limited and often inaccurate, which frequently impedes communication. There is significant repetition of basic words like 'women', 'education', and 'responsibilities'. Many word choices are inappropriate for an academic context, such as 'none of jobs install' or 'recieve whole experience'. Spelling errors are frequent, and the lack of precision in word choice makes it difficult to convey complex ideas. To improve, you should focus on learning collocations and expanding your vocabulary related to social issues, while also paying closer attention to word forms and spelling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often distort the intended meaning. There is a lack of control over basic sentence structures, with many fragments and run-on sentences. Verb tense usage is inconsistent, and there are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'women are not acheive gender quality'). The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple, error-prone sentences. To improve, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and practicing the correct use of tenses before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
