The position of women have changed a lot in past centuries. But people nowadays have a disagreement to have a achieved gender equality. However , even with these big changes, men and women are still not completely equal in most countries. I agree with the statement and my reasons for stating such will be discussed in upcoming paragraphs .
On the one hand , women have achieved a lot of success in recent decades . In past most women stayed at home to look after the family , Today most of the women go to universities and get a higher degrees . this helps the to get a good job in business science and politics which help them to earn a good amount of money and make their own choices, and nowadays also we can see that governments now protect women much better in the past to live freely.
On the other hand, major problems still exist . The biggest problem is gender pay gap . it means women often get paid less money than men for doing the exact same job . Furthermore, it is very hard for women to reach top positions in every sectors like becoming a Doctor, CEO or President . Lastly, many working women face a " double burden " for instance, we can see after working a full day at their jobs they still have to do most of the home work like cooking , cleaning, and childcare at homes.
In conclusion, women lives much better lives today then compare to the past . However , we cannot say we have perfect equality until women get paid fairly, holding more leadership roles and a perfect share housework equally with men.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing a clear position that agrees with the statement. The essay is divided into logical sections: the introduction, the progress made, and the remaining challenges. The ideas are relevant and supported by examples such as the gender pay gap and the 'double burden' of domestic work. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat brief. To reach a higher band, the student should expand on the implications of these points rather than listing them. For instance, explaining how the 'double burden' specifically hinders career progression would provide more depth. Overall, the response is well-focused and maintains a consistent position throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. The progression of ideas is easy to follow, moving from historical context to current progress and finally to persistent issues. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with punctuation, such as the space before the comma in 'However ,'. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'this helps the to get', where the pronoun usage is faulty. Despite these minor issues, the overall structure is coherent and effective.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'gender equality', 'gender pay gap', and 'leadership roles'. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'double burden', which is used appropriately. However, there are several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'people nowadays have a disagreement to have a achieved gender equality' and 'every sectors'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do highlight a limitation in lexical precision. To improve, the student should focus on more natural collocations and ensure that word forms are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the student attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('The position of women have changed') and article misuse ('in past', 'in every sectors'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and missing articles. While these errors are noticeable, they rarely impede the reader's ability to understand the main points. To improve, the student should proofread for basic grammatical accuracy, specifically focusing on subject-verb agreement, article usage, and consistent punctuation.
