Over the past 5 decades women have made huge progress in education, work and legal rights. However, no society fully achieved gender quality, because hidden biases , unequal pay, unfair home duties still hold women back. I totally agree with given statement. I discuss my view points in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with that, the position of female's has changed a great deal in many societies, because women achieved lot in their life , but they not get equality in the society due to some reasons. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses the prompt by acknowledging progress while arguing that gender equality remains elusive. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the points regarding unequal pay and the 'double burden' are mentioned but lack specific examples or deeper analysis to fully support the argument. The response is somewhat repetitive, and the position, while clear, could be more sophisticated. To improve, you should focus on providing concrete evidence or more detailed explanations for your claims rather than listing general observations. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'To begin with that' and 'In additions' are used incorrectly or are non-standard. The progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between unequal pay and political roles is abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'they' and 'it' without clear antecedents. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would significantly enhance the flow and logical progression of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is frequent reliance on basic terms like 'job', 'work', and 'people'. Some word choices are awkward or incorrect, such as 'hand business' instead of 'manage businesses' and 'authorities to do job' instead of 'opportunities to work'. There are also issues with word forms, such as 'female's' used as a noun. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more precise academic vocabulary and ensure that collocations are natural and accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'women... not get equality', 'Society not think'), article usage, and pluralization (e.g., 'some of people'). Sentence structures are predominantly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. For instance, 'Society not think that f doing whole jobs with their interest' is difficult to parse. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces before commas and periods. Focusing on basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement is essential before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
