Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern world there was increased in the empowerment of women . The standpoint of women has modified in many societies from the last 50 years. I agree with this view to some extent because not everyone in the society was the same who cannot claim the gender equality.
First of all i would like to share the viewpoint about the old generation of todays society , they still prefer male in many of the fields to serve the society .for example in medical field most of the elders prefer to get treated by a male doctor which directly claim the gender inequality because they differentiate between doctors according to their genders
Secondly , In some of the seats particular field dominate the male as compared to female . For instance like engineering or skilled trade workers like welding they more occupy to the male ones . For this they claim gender inequality by showing the female inability in particular fields
However, In the contemporary society most the fields was also there in society which did not differentiate between them or claim the gender equality . A clear example of this in sports fields because in this women also equally participate in game and tournaments etc like in cricket, there was both the teams male and female one participated in the game . Therefore for this reason I agree with this claim to some extent.
Consequently, in many societies females suffer from the gender inequality nevertheless nowadays women are more aware of their rights and responsibilities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging the progress made in gender equality while arguing that it is not yet fully achieved. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding medical doctors is a narrow observation rather than a societal analysis. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, you should provide more nuanced explanations for why gender inequality persists in specific sectors and ensure your position is consistently clear throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant but lack the depth required for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'For this they claim gender inequality' and 'Therefore for this reason' are used in ways that do not logically connect the preceding ideas to the following ones. Additionally, the transition between the second and third paragraphs is abrupt. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'nonetheless') more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that relates back to your main argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range expected at higher levels. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'standpoint of women has modified' instead of 'status of women has changed' and 'most the fields was also there'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'occupy to the male ones'. To improve, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary related to social issues and practice using words in their correct context to avoid unnatural phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'there was increased', 'most the fields was') and tense usage. Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors that can cause the reader some difficulty. For instance, 'not everyone in the society was the same who cannot claim the gender equality' is confusing and grammatically incorrect. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, before attempting more complex structures.
