Student answer (Band 5.0)
it is true that the socity cannot agree with the gender equality because they think that man are more capable then women .nevertheless the condition of women has changed in many societies in recent decades.i agree that people cannot accept gender equality but they have to do equality in man and female .
on the one hand ,the socity do not want gender equality because they thing man are more capable then women and the main work for women is doing household work and they should always stay in home.in past man bring food and female made the food for that reason they do not need to go outside .but in present days women can do everything freely but the reason of past culture some people cannot accept the equality that women go outside for work.
on the other hand , women now doing everything that man are doing also they are getting the same salary such as man.in recent time women has full freedom including everything what they want .for example nowadays women are not working in home they go to office and get salary with good position . however women are not staying in there home all day . if they want they can go outside for enjoy there leisure time and so on other thing.
in conclusion, man and woman should have the same rights and the society should accept gender equality.i agree with gender equality because of the mentality of everyone should have the same rights and laws.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the changing role of women and the lack of full gender equality. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The argument that 'society does not want gender equality' is asserted but lacks nuanced exploration or specific, real-world examples to support the claims. The position is clear, but the supporting points are somewhat simplistic and rely on generalizations about 'past culture' versus 'present days'. To improve, you should provide more concrete evidence or deeper analysis of why these societal barriers persist, rather than simply stating that people hold traditional views.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate. For example, the transition 'nevertheless' is used awkwardly in the introduction, and the phrase 'so on other thing' at the end of the second body paragraph is informal and unclear. The logical progression between sentences is occasionally disrupted by grammatical errors, making the flow feel somewhat disjointed. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which restricts the ability to convey complex ideas. Words like 'socity' (spelled incorrectly as 'socity' and 'society'), 'man', 'women', and 'work' are used frequently without variation. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'do equality in man and female' and 'the reason of past culture'. The range is sufficient to communicate basic meaning, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic collocations and synonyms would significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('the socity do not want', 'women now doing'), incorrect article usage, and persistent spelling errors ('socity', 'man' instead of 'men'). Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and basic sentence construction before attempting more complex structures.
