Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that in the past years, gender role changed in our community. While, I understand that gender equality significantly meaningful in certain aspect of life , I agree with the women role because they plays a vital role in society.
On the one hand, there are clear reasons why the position of women changes over the past decades such as, they do employment, educate their children, look after their home, perform their responsibility as a mother, wife, sister, daughter very well, while ignoring their own self care. They make sure to balance their work and personal life in organizing way. however, they do not bound themselves for house chore but they do job for their better lifestyle and financially supporting their husband, so they do not burdened them. Moreover, women come in every field to prove their potential as they can also do these things in mannered way. For example, as a doctor they perform outstanding job also their night shifts as equal as male doctor done.
On the other hand, I believe that these are not our fault to not claimed about gender equality. Firstly, as grown up they see and hear about cultural and societal norms which ultimately deep affects mentality and people should be thinking this way. For instance, women in our society only bound to house, they not allowed to go outside and did job because they see their ancestor only male doing outside work. Secondly, the illetracy rate is high that cause obstacle to see women and men are equals, both have capability to do any thing. Therefore, no one has superiority to other as no one have inferiority over others.
In conclusion, although women and men are different in certain ways , I agree that women role deserve to claim equality as with the development their role changed in various way. Instead. these are positive development for society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt, but the position is not consistently clear. The introduction states an agreement with the 'women role' rather than directly addressing the extent of gender equality. While the body paragraphs provide some relevant points regarding employment and societal norms, the arguments are often underdeveloped or confusingly phrased, such as the claim that 'these are not our fault to not claimed about gender equality.' The conclusion attempts to summarize but remains vague. To improve, ensure your position is clearly stated in the introduction and maintained throughout, with each paragraph focusing on a single, well-supported idea that directly answers the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the awkward transition 'Instead. these are positive development.' Referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to track the subject of certain sentences. For example, the second paragraph jumps between ideas about employment and domestic duties without smooth logical progression. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each sentence flows logically from the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'gender role changed' instead of 'gender roles have changed,' and 'in mannered way' instead of 'in a professional manner.' Some phrases are repetitive, and the use of 'bound' and 'burdened' is grammatically incorrect in the context provided. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more sophisticated vocabulary to express complex ideas, while ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('they plays a vital role'), missing articles ('do job'), and incorrect tense usage ('position of women changes' instead of 'has changed'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring consistent verb tenses throughout your writing.
