In today world, women had made siginificant progress in their personal development and has changed the old judgement of many societies who considered the women as only a house wife. However the societies still lack to accept or claim the eqality among the genders.
Over the past 50 years, various development has been carried out by the women and for the women.Earlier the women were only considered as house wife or a lady caretaking of home and children.Gradually education spent a vital role in the thinking and women begins to lead business or work in corporate job to earn money just as men do.It changes the thinking of the people that women are not less than men.Right now many big companies and many business are been owned by women that motivates other individual to chase their dreams.
Despite of the development and the fact that womens are as equal to men in every aspect the society still lack to appreciate them, some peoples still thinks that few activities such as playing sports, fitness, driving arent the things a women should do.Not giving equal opportunities in terms of education where only a few number of seats are reserved of females. Many consider women as weak as compared to them.
In Conclusion, Although position of women or the importance of women had raised over a period, but still a society cant claim gender equality without removing the old thought and practices carried out from the past about controlling women and not letting them live their life in their own ways

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The student addresses the prompt by discussing the changing position of women and arguing that gender equality has not yet been achieved. A clear position is maintained throughout the response, supported by relevant ideas such as historical role expectations, women entering the corporate world, and ongoing societal prejudice against certain activities. However, the ideas are relatively brief and underdeveloped, lacking depth in terms of specific examples or elaborated argumentation. For instance, the mention of educational seats being reserved for females is unclear and unsupported. Because all parts of the prompt are addressed with a clear stance, but development remains limited, this response fits the Band 5 descriptor well.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The response is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a conventional essay structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, logical progression is often hindered by poor sentence linking and abrupt transitions, such as starting body paragraphs with fragmented ideas. Cohesive devices are minimal or misused, and referencing is frequently unclear (e.g., 'compared to them'). Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion lacks smooth transitions. While the overall arrangement allows the reader to follow the writer's general stance, the mechanical and sometimes inaccurate use of cohesive ties places this response firmly at Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is of a limited and basic nature, with frequent errors in word choice, form, and spelling (e.g., 'siginificant', 'house wife', 'eqality', 'womens', 'arent'). The student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'corporate job', 'personal development', and 'gender equality', but these are undermined by noticeable inaccuracies and awkward phrasing, such as 'education spent a vital role' instead of 'played'. The lexical range is minimally adequate for discussing the topic, but frequent errors cause occasional strain for the reader, aligning with the Band 5 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complexity are frequently faulty. There are persistent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('women had made... has changed', 'societies still lack', 'development has been carried out by the women'), missing articles, and incorrect verb tenses or voices ('business are been owned'). Punctuation is also weak, particularly regarding run-on sentences and comma splices in the introduction and body paragraphs. Because frequent errors are present and often cause difficulty for the reader, a band score of 5.0 is appropriate.
