Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary era, women have achieved promotion in every profession, such as business, hospital, household, media, and IT in a private and government both sectors. However, male dominant societies still not accept the achievement of female more than male due to gender descripancies, even when modern generation always talking about gender equality. I totally agree with the view that some cultures cannot accept the euality of woman and man in every aspect of life, to them gender equality are only on paper and in the laws, and people who live in rural areas and orthodox thinking do not follow it.
To begin with, women have greater access to education and employment, but inequalities still exist in workplaces. In addition, senior management and leadership positions are still often dominated by men due to this women can face descrimination during recruitment and get lower pay scale as compared to men. For example, in many developing nations, females are well represented in the businesses, but males are continue to occupy a large proportion of senior executive and decision-making positions. Therefore, certain professions are still perceived as more suitable for men.
Another reason why people sustain gender equality is that it is also lacking in people's private lives, particularly in relation to unpaid work. In other words, women often spend more time in household chores and childcare when they are also career-oriented, while men's resposibilities are only limited to their office work only. For example, a woman who wors full-time may still be expected to take primary responsibility for cooking, child nurturing, and cleaning, leaving her with mental and physical stress. Consequently, working women may have double burden of paid employment and domestic responsibilities that limit women's opportunities for career development and leisure.
In conclusion, despite considerable progress in women's education and employment opportunities, substantial inequalities remain in the workplace and within the household. So I completely agree with this view that society can not claim to have achieved gender equality.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, taking a clear and well-developed position that gender equality remains incomplete in many societies. The writer presents relevant arguments regarding workplace inequality and the unequal division of domestic labor. Ideas are extended with appropriate explanations and examples, such as reference to developing nations and the double burden working women face. Although there is a slight tendency to over-generalize in places, the overall task response fulfills the requirements for a Band 7.0 by maintaining a clear position and supporting main ideas adequately throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a clear logical organization with a recognizable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Progression is generally maintained throughout the text. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'In addition', 'Another reason', and 'In conclusion' are used to structure the response, though some transitions feel slightly mechanical. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately, separating the distinct ideas of workplace discrimination and domestic responsibilities. While referencing is mostly clear, occasional minor mechanical linking prevents the response from achieving a higher band descriptor.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'contemporary era', 'descripancies', 'career-oriented', and 'decision-making positions'. However, there are notable spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'descripancies' instead of discrepancies, 'euality' instead of equality, and 'males are continue' instead of continue. Some collocations are also awkward, such as 'male dominant societies still not accept'. These lexical inaccuracies prevent communication from being fully impeded, but they restrict the score to a Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical errors are frequent throughout the text, including tense and agreement issues such as 'societies still not accept', 'gender equality are only on paper', and 'a woman who wors full-time'. Punctuation is generally acceptable, but structural errors and awkward phrasing occur often enough to cause occasional strain for the reader. These features align closely with the Band 6 descriptor.
