Student answer (Band 5.0)

in the modren ara, female has changed a great deal in many communities as campere to past half cantrury. I compelety agree with this statement because of many reasons. Which I will discuss in the upcoming paragraphs.

The most compelling reason this is that in today's world women have a better access to education instead of past time because of the expenditure of goverment on better education for providing to women. Therefore female are very well-educated. For example, there are many government policies in India, which are providing better education for unabling them to independent in their life.Furhtermore, there is great participation of female in employment due to the education. So they are capable to taking jobs in many fileds For instance, they has a better position in teaching doctors so they are geting high salaries which anable them completely independ.

Moreover, Female have many legel rights, which helping to keep a strongest status of female in socities and pariticipation in public events such as polictics, due to the freedom of taking part in polictics and other flieds women position make strongest. For instances, in modren ara, women are achieving success in every flied due to freedom and legel rights. So women has changes a great deal in many societies.

In cunclusion, I believe that women has stongest status in the communities due to the access of education, working in many sectors and legal rights. Given this situation, I recommend that goverment should make more poilices for women because it is very beneficial for female and nation growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the task and presents a clear position agreeing with the prompt. The writer attempts to support this position with reasons related to education, employment, and legal rights. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat superficial and repetitive, with generalisations such as mentioning India and teaching without deeper elaboration. While the main parts of the prompt are covered, the arguments lack depth and precision, placing this response at Band 5.5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, including an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, progression is frequently hindered by awkward sentence structures and fragmented thoughts, such as starting a sentence with 'Which I will discuss in the upcoming paragraphs.' Cohesive devices are often used mechanically or inaccurately, and referencing is sometimes unclear, leading to an overall choppy flow. Paragraphing is present but logical progression within paragraphs requires significant improvement, aligning with Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, featuring frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'modren', 'ara', 'campere', 'cantrury', 'compelety', 'goverment', 'unabling', 'Furhtermore', 'fileds', 'anable', 'legel', 'socities', 'polictics', 'cunclusion', 'stongest', 'poilices'). While the writer attempts less common vocabulary such as 'compelling reason' and 'gender equality' (implied), noticeable word-choice errors and incorrect derivations ('unabling', 'anable') impede communication at times and point clearly to a Band 4.5 level, rounded to 5.0 for adequate attempt at task-related terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

There is a very limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences frequently result in severe grammatical errors and fragmentation (e.g., 'Which I will discuss in the upcoming paragraphs' and 'The most compelling reason this is that in today's world women have a better access to education instead of past time'). Punctuation is faulty throughout, and errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles are highly frequent, causing difficulty for the reader and restricting the score to Band 4.5, recorded as 4.5.
