Student answer (Band 5.5)
The position of women has been the topic of discussion at various platforms. Some people believe that in last five decades women position has been altered and improved in society but it cannot be claimed as equal position between the men and women.I strongly believe that overall opportunities for women in education and employability has been increased dominantely than they were in past centuries, but still equality of status is not achieved yet.
In the first place, now a days more females are enrolled in higher education like post graduation studies compared to the number of females enrolled in pas that shows a higher rate of literacy opportunities for women in many countries. For example, parents now a days aloow their girls to go to college and universities freely and invest in their future by paying equally higher fees for their academic courses as males. Moreover, there are more job openings in different sectors of health, business or IT for the females as they were in the past. And women are intended to participate in competence exams in same proportion as of men. These facts illustrate the empowerment and improment of women status inside a society around the world.
On the other hand, where women are provided with equal opportunities in education and employment, there are extra expectations of society towards her at home for example for childcare and house chores are expecyed to be done by a women at home. Whether both men and women of smae family are working but there is a large responsibility thrown over female by the society that includes feeding and taking care of kids without any husband's help or cleaning and cooking for the full family alone.
This illustration describe the inequality that women are facimg in some cultures and societies.
In conclusion, I believe, despite recieving a major change in position inside the society, women are still facing inequality in case of household chores and household responsibilities. This thought needs to be changes widely in all the societies for providing equality for women's mental health stability.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing that while opportunities have improved, full gender equality has not been reached. Ideas are extended and supported with relevant examples, such as increased female enrollment in higher education and the persisting burden of household chores. For instance, the writer notes that 'parents now a days aloow their girls to go to college' and points out the unfair expectation that women must manage childcare and domestic duties alone despite working. While there is a slight tendency to over-generalize certain points, the overall development satisfies the requirements for a Band 6.5 to 7.0 range. The position remains consistent throughout the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear logical progression throughout. Paragraphing is used appropriately to divide the introduction, distinct body arguments regarding education/employment and domestic inequality, and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are employed to link ideas, such as 'In the first place', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical, as seen in awkward transitions like 'where women are provided with equal opportunities in education and employment, there are extra expectations'. Furthermore, minor punctuation and conjunction issues affect the smoothness of reading. Overall, the organizational structure is clear, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting less common words and phrases such as 'employability', 'empowerment', and 'mental health stability'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occur throughout the response, including 'aloow', 'pas', 'improment', 'expecyed', 'smae', and 'recieving'. Additionally, awkward phrasing such as 'women position has been altered' and 'large responsibility thrown over female' limits precision. While communication is not impeded and the student attempts to use a varied lexicon, the frequency of lexical errors places this performance firmly at Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writer uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating attempts at subordination and relative clauses (e.g., 'Some people believe that in last five decades women position has been altered...'). However, frequent errors in grammar and punctuation are present, including missing articles ('in past centuries', 'in same proportion'), subject-verb agreement issues ('women position', 'women are intended'), and preposition misuse ('at various platforms'). Punctuation is also weak in places, notably with missing commas and run-on structures. Because errors persist across both simple and complex sentences and occasionally cause minor strain for the reader, a Band 5.5 is appropriate.
