Student answer (Band 5.5)
In past few years, the position of women has changed a great deal in many communities over the past half century. However these societies cannot issue to have achieved gender equality. I strongly agree with this view because women has started to became independent and manage their funds.
One major critics of this trend is people are not able to motivates the females for their ability. Nowadays girls has started doing job and earn money for better lifestyle, also balancing the extented family and children. Moreover, there are many people in our society who do not appreciate the women after doing all the routine stuffs. For example, if man and women working nine hours in corporate office, then she will cook for entire family and take care of senior citizen. This means position of women has been changed but outside of the house, whereas in house acitivity remain same as ancient time.
In addition, some parents guide their female child since she was younge that you can achieve goals, but you should always be in certian limits as you are girl. For instance, if a girl went for any late night parties and travel with friends then this gonna be negative consequences for her. Although female should not make any male friends due to this reasons our socities cannot come up with gender equality. At the moment boys are enjoying more than girls due to such discrimination female avoids some acititvity.
In conclusion, female are doing equal work as male but our society cannot accept as male because of their ancient mentality. Therefore, I agree that women had achieved the higher position in front of community, however it is had to accept by the societies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses the task and presents a clear position agreeing with the prompt that gender equality has not been fully achieved. Ideas are relevant, such as the double burden of working women and societal restrictions placed on females. However, the development of these ideas tends to be limited and slightly repetitive. For instance, the paragraph discussing societal restrictions introduces examples like late-night parties and male friends, but the argument remains somewhat superficial. Furthermore, there are generalizations and some under-developed supporting points. It successfully addresses all parts of the prompt with a discernible stance, fitting best into Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, including an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, establishing an overall coherent arrangement. However, the progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward transitions and mechanical use of cohesive devices, such as 'One major critics of this trend' and 'Moreover'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in phrases like 'this means position of women has been changed' and 'due to this reasons'. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs lacks smooth flow due to grammatical interruptions and repetitive linking words, leading to a Band 5.5 score.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases like 'gender equality', 'corporate office', and 'ancient mentality'. However, there are frequent word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'cannot issue to have achieved' instead of 'cannot claim', 'routine stuffs', and 'female child'. Word formation errors are also present, such as 'acititvity' and 'younge'. While the range is sufficient to convey the general message, these persistent inaccuracies limit the lexical score to a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('women has started', 'female are doing', 'societies cannot accept'), missing articles, and tense inconsistencies ('if a girl went for... this gonna be'). Punctuation and spelling errors also occur ('acititvity', 'certian'). Although meaning is generally communicated despite the errors, the high frequency of inaccurate complex structures places this firmly in Band 5.0.
