Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that over past few decade women rapidly development in many communities, while other claim that there is no any gender barrier all equal. I completely agree with this statement because it independent and opportunity.
First of all many century their follow trend that women weak but nowadays they become independent. This is because when women did something but they physically weak than men, In recently they proved wrong for society. As a result, they become power brain set-up which represent new community. Moreover, women was working for their families and all expenses become freedom in the past they rules to older women restrictions. For example, many countries women self dependence because they are suffer a lot when depend on someone else, so that make stand for herself to be stronger, In Bangladesh many women was restriction over past decade because of their religious point of view but now they become independent.
In addition, modern time everywhere to opportunity that women take chance. The main reason for this is that some male dominate female that's why government decided to be some platform for women. Consequently, they become successful in their life and did well job than men. Furthermore, some men thing that women better to be home work but it was not true they also change community if they get chance. For instance, Bangladesh last few decades women control hole country and become successful in their life which Begum Khaleda Zia who award for internationally because of their potential and hard-working.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that gender equal but we have to evaluate same way not any prticular gender. Therefore, it will benefit our society people which develop our country creativity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position agreeing that societies have not achieved full gender equality, noting that women are gaining independence and opportunities. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times unclear due to expression issues. For instance, the writer attempts to discuss historical trends where women were viewed as weaker and mentions examples like Bangladesh and political figures like Begum Khaleda Zia. While these ideas are relevant to the prompt, they are under-developed and lack clear analytical depth. The argument tends to over-generalize and jumps between points rather than sustaining a well-supported line of reasoning. Because all parts of the prompt are addressed with a clear position, but the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed, this meets the criteria for Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response is divided into paragraphs, but the overall organization suffers from a lack of clear progression. While basic cohesive devices are attempted, such as 'First of all', 'Moreover', and 'In addition', their usage is often mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, making the flow disjointed. Referencing is frequently unclear; for example, phrases like 'this is because when women did something but they physically weak than men' create confusion about relationships between ideas. Paragraphing is present to separate the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, but the internal logical links within paragraphs are weak and repetitive. These issues reflect the characteristics of Band 5, where there is some organization but no clear overall progression and cohesive devices are inadequate or inaccurate.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, which impacts the clarity of the message. The writer attempts some less common terms, such as 'independence', 'opportunity', and 'potential', but these are frequently marred by word choice and collocation errors, such as 'women rapidly development', 'power brain set-up', and 'male dominate female'. There are also noticeable spelling and morphological errors, such as 'prticular' and 'self dependence'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic stance on the topic, the frequent errors in word formation and choice cause some difficulty for the reader. This performance aligns closely with the Band 5 descriptor for Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex clauses. Numerous grammatical errors are present throughout the essay, including missing auxiliary verbs, incorrect verb tenses, and subject-verb agreement issues, such as 'women rapidly development', 'women was working', and 'some men thing that women better to be home work'. These frequent errors frequently strain the reader and cause difficulty in fully grasping the intended meaning. Although a few simple sentences are constructed correctly, the high frequency of structural inaccuracies places this response firmly at Band 4.0 for Grammatical Range and Accuracy.
