Women empowerment is very crucial for the development of a country. Over the past 50 years, tremenduos change in the society can be seen. I totally disagree with the statement that these societies cannot claim to have achieved gender equality.
Nowadays, by government schemes education of girls is easily accessible. There are so many scholorships are given for education of girls. Moreover, government is taking so many steps to make a women independent. They are providing various vocational courses for free. For example, In India, "beti padao beti bachao" scheme is providing education opportunities. Also "laadli schemes" is providing funds to women who want to do their own business.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that gender equality has been achieved, supporting this with some relevant examples such as government schemes in India and notable female figures. However, the development of ideas is limited, leading to an overall under-developed argument. Furthermore, the response is significantly below the minimum word count requirement, coming in at 212 words instead of the required 250 words. To move to a higher band, the writer must expand on their arguments with greater depth and ensure the essay meets the minimum length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the response into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used to separate distinct ideas, such as government schemes in the second paragraph and career achievements in the third. Cohesive devices like 'Furthermore', 'For example', and 'To conclude' are employed to guide the reader, though referencing and transitions are at times mechanical. While it successfully bridges into higher band characteristics through its clear paragraphing and logical sequencing, the limited overall progression and repetitive mechanical cohesion keep it firmly balanced at this level.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical resource used is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'vocational courses', 'corporate sectors', and 'wrestling champion', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word form, choice, and spelling, such as 'tremenduos' instead of 'tremendous', 'scholorships' instead of 'scholarships', and 'equall' instead of 'equal'. Additionally, phrasing like 'the name of president is Mrs. Murmur' demonstrates awkward collocation and lexical control. To improve, the student needs to expand their vocabulary range and focus on accurate spelling and word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic sentence patterns. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, such as in the clause 'women is well aware of their rights' and 'who is a tribal women and be able to become a president'. There are frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and plurals, including 'There are so many scholorships are given' and 'women are providing equall opportunities'. These persistent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher band, the writer must incorporate a wider variety of complex structures with greater accuracy.
