Student answer (Band 6.0)
Women empowerment and the opportunites have increased and status become significantly stronger nowadays then half century ago, however their is still unfair treatment between males and females. I agree with the statement and the reason was discrimination and providing lesser stage to women who aimed to achieve higher in their lives.
In todays advanced and modern world their is no single task which a female cannot perform. Womens are way more dominating in a positive manner in contrast to previous years. They worked hard to their full potential in each and every field out their, whether it technical, medical, sports and countless other departments. I believe females are more competitive then males in emotional aspects because they can handle pressure and stress or workload with more calm and composed nature. For example, they are managing their families, children, their homes, society pressure all together still manage to out perform males in many domains.
However, societies are still holding them up by pressuring them and asking them to perform family responsibilities which is as important but it was not only a females duty to be done every single member of the should be reponsible for building a home and must contribute in this aspect. For example, i have seen many ladies who have done MBBS excellently but was not allowed to practice beacuse they needed to manage their household tasks. Moreover, there are still many areas where they were given fewer chances to prove themselves and their talents whereas males are not required to take take tests to show their accountibility to others to gain specific post or position.
In conclusion, even after having rights and freedom, women still needes permission from their familes to achieve what they dreamt of and have to fight for the opportunites. They should have given equal chance as males in every field.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing with the prompt that gender equality has not yet been achieved. Relevant ideas are introduced, such as the persistence of societal pressures, unequal career opportunities for women like qualified doctors who are barred from practicing, and household responsibilities. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others; for instance, the points about emotional resilience and women dominating in a positive manner are stated rather than deeply explored. The overall stance remains consistent, fully meeting the requirements for the core band while displaying aspects of more thorough extension found in higher bands.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The text exhibits a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing that separates the introduction, body arguments, and conclusion. Information flows logically from discussing general advancements to specific barriers faced by women, utilizing cohesive devices such as 'however', 'moreover', and 'in conclusion'. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or slightly faulty, and referencing is not always completely clear, such as the pronoun shifts and repetitive linking patterns between sentences. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to structure the argument, but transitional links between some ideas could be smoother to establish a more seamless progression throughout.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'dominating', 'resilience' (implied), and 'accountability'. However, there are noticeable word-choice and word-form errors that reflect a limited range, such as 'opportunites', 'their is' (lexical confusion), 'Womens', and 'familes'. Spelling and collocation errors occur, such as 'out perform' and 'reponsible', but they do not seriously impede communication. The lexical control sits firmly at the target level, showing basic communicative competence while needing more precision and stylistic awareness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating attempts at subordination and relative clauses, such as in 'women who aimed to achieve higher'. However, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including subject-verb agreement issues ('their is still unfair treatment', 'women still needes'), article omissions, and incorrect preposition use within grammatical patterns (e.g., 'given fewer chances to prove themselves... whereas males are not required to take tests'). While these errors do not completely obscure meaning, they persist throughout the text and demonstrate limited structural control.
