Student answer (Band 5.0)

In various society the position of women has changed and give a good result from the past 50 year. But now also these societies people cannot clamim of the achivement regarding gender equality. I agree with this statement but also its has some challanges to change the thought of the citizens.

On the one hand, female has more willing power then male. In each activities women are placed to make work more easier and faster. The women has to take care of their family and also have to manage their work. The place which has more ladies worker then, there will be more faster and reliable work. For example, in my home town there is one cooperative name "Girls saving company". In this office there is only female staff. There are many such types of cooperatives which was runned by the male staff but among all the origanazion of my town, this company was rewarded by our municipility last year. Therefore, this all is happned due to the active working peformance done by the womens.

On the other hand, now also individual thought that women cann't be similar as man. The girls are looked as the household ladies which only have to do work in the field of home. They aren't given opportinuties to introduce themselves. Anothe important factor is that they are not allowed to studies from their childhood.

The conclusion is that, women have to suffer form different types of trouble, but also they didnot loose their hope and keep on going.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that gender equality has not yet been achieved, while acknowledging the changes over the past 50 years. However, the ideas are limited and under-developed, keeping the task response at this level. For instance, the discussion on women balancing family and work is brief, and the example of the 'Girls saving company' lacks sufficient explanation to fully support the argument. Furthermore, the counter-argument regarding traditional views on women's roles is mentioned briefly without deep elaboration or clear supporting evidence, reflecting a partial treatment of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation present in the essay, with a clear attempt to structure the response into an introduction, body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand', which do not accurately frame contrasting points logically throughout. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, and the repetitive use of simple connective structures means that the flow of information feels mechanical rather than naturally progressive.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic message. There is an attempt to use some less common words, but this is accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, word formation, and spelling that cause some difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'clamim' instead of claim, 'origanazion' instead of organisation, and 'willing power' instead of willpower. Furthermore, collocation issues are frequent, such as 'ladies worker' instead of female workers and 'didnot loose their hope', which restrict the precision and flexibility of the writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The student uses a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to noticeable structural awkwardness. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'societies people cannot clamim' and 'this all is happned', incorrect article usage, and prepositions inside grammatical patterns. For example, phrases such as 'allow to studies' and 'suffer form different types of trouble' demonstrate a lack of control over basic grammatical structures.
