Student answer (Band 6.0)

Over the decades the women has been provided with a lot of benefits in a lot of societies, however the gender equity is still lacking in these society. In my opinoin, gunder eqality is sill a concerning factor in many places and also in the place where certain facilities has been provided due to lack of collaboration and the freedom provided to a women so i completely agree with the statement, nevertheless the situation is improving.

On one hand, the nation has started to include female in almost all the field, women slot has been incorporated in every position from decision making to working. A nation has started to address the voice of a ladies in compare to the situation in the past when they were only allowed to stay at home and do household activities. Nowdays, opportunities has been provided to women but workload has only been added rather than divided. Women are now expected to manage both office load and household activities. For example, a working women now has to take care of children, food, office works, familys because they are the one who has to leave the house after marriage and move to new place.

On the other hand, even after providing equal job opportunities and serving the company, a female don't have th freedom to do as they will and has be stay within certain boundary of the society inorder to save themself from people around them. Each and every girl in this world has to be scare of surrounding and think more than twice to do anything. For example, a women can't roam aorund at night due to fear of harassments, they have to notify beforehead regarding her decision so that it won't cause trouble in relationships.

In conclusion, yes women are getting better opportunities in compare to past, nontheless they still have to work ten times as hard than man to prove their worth. So, gender equality is still missing and need to work on cooperating and providing freedom to women.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you agree that societies have not achieved gender equality, while acknowledging that opportunities have improved. Both sides of this change are relevantly addressed, particularly women’s increased participation in employment and the continuing burden of domestic work, as well as concerns about safety and personal freedom. These examples support your response, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that women must work “ten times as hard” is not substantiated, and the point about having to notify others of decisions could be linked more clearly to unequal social expectations. To strengthen the response, develop each main idea with a clearer explanation of how it demonstrates persistent inequality and use more precise supporting examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present contrasting aspects of women’s position, and a conclusion restates your argument. The use of “On one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow this progression. However, some connections are mechanical, and the first body paragraph moves from workplace participation to domestic responsibilities and then to marriage without fully explaining the links. References such as “these society” and “they” can also make it less clear exactly who or what is being discussed. Organise each paragraph around one central claim, then connect the example directly to that claim; use linking expressions and pronouns more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “gender equality,” “decision making,” “job opportunities,” “workload,” and “harassments.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main argument, but the range and control are limited, with repeated general words such as “women,” “provided,” and “society.” Several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “women slot,” “office load,” and “save themself from people around them.” Spelling errors such as “opinoin,” “eqality,” and “aorund” also make the writing less fluent to read. Build a more precise vocabulary for social expectations and workplace inequality, and check spelling and collocations carefully so your intended meaning is consistently clear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including contrast clauses with “however” and “nevertheless,” and examples introduced with “For example.” This shows some range, but control is uneven: errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction occur throughout and sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “opportunities has been provided” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “a female don't have th freedom” contains errors in agreement and article use. The opening sentence also runs several ideas together, making its grammatical relationships difficult to follow. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, consistent singular or plural forms, and accurate articles. Shorter, well-controlled sentences will help you express complex ideas more clearly.
