Student answer (Band 5.5)
The argue is that the position of females has updated over the last 50 years in various communities. Although, these communities still cannot assert that they got gender equivalence. I partially agree with this statement because nowadays women are involving in each type of work and are getting equal oppotunities in both career and professional life. However, it is also true about gender equality cannot be achieved completely despite that females had involved in everything.
It is better improvement that women have a lot of oppotunities to be independent and have freedom. They can get basic rights which involve education, healthcare and jobs. In fact, females have started to drive cars, scooties and bikes by themselves. Moreover, they have separate job oppotunities in government and private sectors. They are taking part in every field either in contuction works or in businesses; although. women have fixed ratio of seats in politics also.
To diverse, men have their own way of work which cannot beat by women. A man can face a large amount of problems with a smiling face; additionally he can handle stress and take actions wisely. While on the other hand, a woman cannot do such things efficiently, in fact she can came under pressure easily and has more chances to take decision wrong. One of the main reason is that both women and men have their own responsibilities, some of them are not similar. So that, any society cannot claim that it has achieved gender equality.
In conclusion, by providing opportunities to the women does not mean that gender equality has been achieved. I believe that changing of women has somehow positive impact on society nonetheless to compare them with men is not a good thing. A society must grant basic yet necessary rights to the females.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question and state a qualified position: you “partially agree” that women’s position has improved while equality remains incomplete. Examples such as access to education, healthcare, employment and political representation are relevant. However, the argument is only partly developed: the first body paragraph mainly lists changes, while the second relies on broad claims that men handle stress better and women make poorer decisions, without evidence or explanation. This also makes your position less convincing and somewhat unclear, since these claims appear to justify inequality rather than explain why equality has not been achieved. To strengthen the response, focus on specific remaining barriers—such as unequal pay, leadership representation or unpaid care—and explain how they support your stated view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly group progress and continuing differences. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “additionally” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often list-like, and some connections are unclear or inaccurate. For example, “To diverse” does not clearly signal the contrast that follows, while “although” is awkwardly placed after the examples of women’s work. The conclusion introduces the idea that comparing women with men is “not a good thing,” which is not fully prepared by the earlier argument. Build each paragraph around one clear point, explain it, and use transitions that show the precise relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “independent,” “basic rights,” “government and private sectors,” and “gender equality.” There are also attempts to use a range of expressions, such as “a large amount of problems” and “take actions wisely.” However, word choice and collocation are frequently inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “gender equivalence,” “the position of females has updated,” “separate job opportunities,” and “To diverse.” Spelling errors such as “oppotunities” and “contuction” also reduce accuracy. Aim for common, precise IELTS collocations rather than translating phrases directly; for instance, describe women’s position as having “changed” and refer to “equal employment opportunities.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although” and “while,” but control is inconsistent. Errors occur in verb forms and sentence construction: “women are involving” should be “women are involved,” “females had involved” needs a different construction, and “she can came under pressure” has an incorrect verb form. Agreement and article use are also problematic, as in “One of the main reason” and “take decision wrong.” Some sentences are difficult to follow because clauses are joined or punctuated awkwardly, particularly the sentence ending “although. women.” Practise checking subject–verb agreement, verb patterns and clause boundaries, then use complex structures only when you can control them accurately.
