Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You express a general view that women are capable and that gender equality has not been accepted everywhere, which is relevant to the question. However, the response only partially addresses the issue: it does not clearly explain how far you agree, and most examples focus on women’s opportunities rather than showing whether equality has been achieved. The points about daughters being expected to give birth and women succeeding in professions could support your argument, but they need clearer explanation and specific evidence. The reference to Kalpana Chawla is unfinished and does not establish the point. The response is also 65 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop your reasons. State your position directly and explain two relevant examples in detail.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you begin with your view, use “initially” to introduce an example, and then move to rural women’s achievements. These signals show an effort to connect ideas. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several points are crowded into long sentences, and the relationship between them is not always clear. For example, the contrast between women doctors and people who do not want women to be knowledgeable needs a clearer explanation. The final sentence about Kalpana Chawla is incomplete, so the conclusion does not bring the argument together. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and a conclusion, and make each paragraph develop one connected point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “gender equality,” “talent and skills,” “rural areas,” and “astronaut,” so the reader can identify the subject of your response. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas about professions and social attitudes. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or collocations make meaning less clear, such as “women are the best are sales” and “doing far more great in the field.” Spelling errors, including “dependend,” “gynocologist,” and “astrounat,” also reduce accuracy. Build a small set of precise phrases for discussing equal opportunities, social expectations, and representation, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “however” and a sentence beginning “although.” This shows some effort to use more than one sentence pattern. However, the longer structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the argument difficult to follow. Examples include “they doesnot want,” “daughter are useful,” and “they are dependend on them”; the opening also has the incorrect construction “women are the capable.” Several sentences run together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then combine them with one clear subordinate clause, checking agreement and verb forms in each sentence.
