Student answer (Band 5.5)

Communities still believe that gender balance have not been achieve in the last five decates, even if women are taking up powerful roles in the societies. Althought men are perceived to be in superior ranks in communities, I believe women ascend to higher ranks in order to have balanced gender at work places.

Communities get satisfaction when men are in postions of the high order. This masculinity notion is propagated by believe that males are resilient and firm decision makers suitable to give a verdict on difficulties that arise at offices. For instance, more demanding jobs like mechanical and plumbing are only for male, though women can do better than males. Thus socities which overlook some work to be for men only need to have equal balance of roles to incorporate both genders, as a result strong work relation can be attained.

However, I believe women play significant roles in our societies. First of all, they have superior leadership skills. ladies are thought have a neutral judgement without favouring sides. They are able to handle contravasial prejudices in familes. For example, female teachers are good at handling indiscipline issues at school, and many students prefer their grievances to be handle by mother educators, female teachers are tender and caring.

In conclusion, while men play significant roles in our neighbourhoods, taking mores positions than women, Iwill disagree and argue that equal sharing jobs should be maintained, and females should be considerable noble leaders in respective profession as they posses the same manegerial skills as men

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You present a relevant position: you argue that women should have equal access to roles and leadership, and you support this with examples about traditionally male jobs and female teachers. This gives the response a clear connection to gender equality. However, the task asks whether societies can claim to have achieved equality, and your opening and conclusion do not consistently answer this directly: the conclusion says “I will disagree” but then argues for equal sharing, leaving the precise extent of your agreement unclear. Several claims, such as women having “superior leadership skills,” are asserted rather than explained or supported. State your position explicitly from the introduction and develop a few reasons with clearer links to whether equality has or has not been achieved.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “However” signals a shift to your argument about women’s roles, and examples generally follow the points they are intended to support. Nevertheless, progression between ideas is sometimes unclear. The first body paragraph moves from men’s perceived suitability for demanding jobs to the need for equal roles without fully explaining the connection, while the second shifts from leadership to family disputes and then schools. Some linking phrases, such as “First of all” and “For example,” help, but the relationships between claims need to be made more explicit. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving on.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “gender balance,” “superior ranks,” “resilient,” “verdict,” and “managerial skills,” and this shows an effort to discuss social attitudes and employment. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “roles,” “societies,” and “men,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “high order,” “strong work relation,” and “mother educators.” Spelling errors such as “decates,” “socities,” and “contravasial” also make the writing less fluent to read. Aim for precise, natural phrases for workplace equality and leadership, and check spelling carefully. More accurate vocabulary would help your ideas come across without requiring the reader to infer your meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, using clauses introduced by “even if,” “though,” and “as a result.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “gender balance have not been achieve,” “women are thought have,” and “grievances to be handle,” where agreement, verb forms or missing grammatical elements affect accuracy. There are also problems with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, as in “more demanding jobs like mechanical and plumbing are only for male.” Work first on reliable subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for complete clauses and correct punctuation. Clearer sentence construction will make your argument easier to understand.
