Student answer (Band 4.5)
The position of women has changed over the last 50 years. but society cannot claim to achieve gender equality.
In the past fifty years society get many upgradation. There are many things that change over this time . In the past woman will not pe allowed to work or study. People though that if a woman is working this is not got for their society image. People say that woman have to stay at home all the day takecare of childs. Woman have to stay all the day at home they could not know how to write how to teach.there life ends only at their home.
But in now time women have the same equality as mens. They have the allowence to do job or study. Many of the womans in todays are working hard to be succesful. For example: Now time womens are doing all the thing that mens do like womens are driving cars freely even woman are now flying air planes. These things are very helful for over society to make it a global village. Society have to give equality to women.
I disagree with that society did not claim the gender equality. In now time womans have the facilities to do what they want their are many developments for womens. Now womans can work at banks, hospitals, resturants, industries, even now women are owning their own bussiness and earning more than mens. In some feilds woman win than mens in some mens win over the womens. Society accepted the gender equality now mens and womens are same.
In conclusion, The position of women over the past fifty years have upgrade a lot. I agreed with that society claim how to achieved gender equaity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the topic and give a position, especially in the final body paragraph, where you argue that women now have opportunities in work and education. Examples such as women “driving cars” and “owning their own business” are relevant. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says society cannot claim equality, while later you state that society has achieved it, without explaining this change or defining what equality means. Most support describes increased access and individual success, but does not examine whether equal pay, leadership, or responsibilities have also been achieved. Develop a consistent answer to the extent question and support it with specific comparisons or evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, paragraphs about the past and present, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your ideas. However, progression is weakened by repetition: the claim that women can work or study appears several times, and the final paragraph largely repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. The contrast between the opening claim and the later assertion that equality has been achieved is also not signposted or resolved. Some sentences run together, while transitions such as “But in now time” and “In conclusion” do not always create a clear logical link. Organise the body around distinct reasons and use references and linking phrases to show how each supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “gender equality,” “society,” “work,” and “study,” and examples such as “banks” and “hospitals” help convey your meaning. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “women,” “society,” and “now time.” Frequent spelling and word-choice problems—such as “upgradation,” “allowence,” “succesful,” and “global village”—make the writing less natural and sometimes require the reader to infer your meaning. Some expressions are also imprecise, for example “win than mens.” Build a more accurate topic vocabulary for discussing equal opportunities and remaining inequalities, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You communicate some ideas through simple sentences and make attempts to connect clauses, for example, “In the past fifty years society get many upgradation.” However, grammatical control is weak across the response, and errors frequently affect clarity. Verb forms and agreement are often inaccurate: “society get,” “women have the same equality,” and “the position … have upgrade.” Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also cause problems, as in “takecare of childs” and “how to write how to teach.” Most sentences follow a simple pattern, with little accurate variety in complex structures. Practise forming past and present-tense sentences, subject–verb agreement, and clauses joined with appropriate punctuation; then proofread each sentence for a complete, clear structure.
