Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, in many of the societies the position of the women has changes over the fifty years. as the society did not claim of being a equal in gender equality. I will share the partial views in following paragraphs.

on the agree view looking in the past the women's stay at home and perform the position as the housewives, but in today's time the women's are working and help their partner in contributing their houses expenses. Along with this now the women's are well educated. For instance, Nowadays they study in university and get the various opportunity to succeed in their lives.

on the opposite view at some of the places the distribution of salary is not same as the women receive the lower wages as compared with mens even if they are at the same platforms. Moreover, they face difficulties as after doing the work they need to manage the houehold work like, cooking, cleaning, and looking after their Childers. This builds a pressure in them for example, they need to take care for their and need to manage the time between their work and household activities.

To conclude, being equally in gender is very important in today's society as nowadays the women's are well educated and on the other side the also face difficulties in managing their daily schedule for the work as well as to look after their wards.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address the topic by describing women’s increased access to education and work, while also noting unequal pay and the burden of household responsibilities. These are relevant points, but your position on the statement is not clearly established: “I will share the partial views” does not tell the reader how far you agree, and the conclusion mainly says equality is important rather than answering the question directly. The examples are brief and several ideas are asserted without explanation, such as women’s educational opportunities and the pressure of managing work and home. The response also does not meet the required 250-word minimum, which limits the space available to develop your reasons. State your degree of agreement clearly and explain each main point with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting points, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “Along with this,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and the contrast between the two body paragraphs is not explicitly connected to your overall position. Some linking phrases are awkward or repetitive, while the sentence beginning “This builds a pressure in them” does not clearly explain how the preceding examples connect. Improve cohesion by using topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then develop it in a logical sequence. Clearer references and a direct link back to your position would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “gender equality,” “lower wages,” “well educated,” and “household work.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. For example, “the position of the women has changes” and “same platforms” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “housewives” is also repeated as a broad description of women’s past roles. Spelling and word-form errors such as “houehold” and “Childers” further affect clarity. Build a more precise topic vocabulary and check common collocations, for example, “equal pay for equal work” and “share domestic responsibilities.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “but” and a reason introduced by “as.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “the position of the women has changes,” “the women's are working,” and “the women receive the lower wages,” where verb forms, agreement, or article use are not controlled. The sentence “they need to take care for their” is incomplete, and several sentences begin with lowercase letters after full stops. Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences before adding complexity. Careful proofreading for tense, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries would improve readability.
