Student answer (Band 5.5)

The role of women has changed and they achieved great progress from the society over the past 50 years, while we cant say their is equality between genders.I am stan with this view where women achieved re,spect and come through a lot of struggles but they are still judged by the coservative society.I am delve into detail about my perspective.

To begin with,Women was not in that position for all time thay had done a great struggle to changed the society. In past, some country women are not allowed to study they are restricted by their coservative families rules and norms.Still, some country are not given that much freedom to study and work comfortly. For instance, in middle class family child marriage is very common and girls are facing struggle to grow in their career.Their are lot of restriction for women such as they are not allowed to live alone and they doest have the right to taking their decisions by themself.

But today, people are educated they are aware of women education because a women is going to be a mother and teach our children. Therefore, they are backbone of our nation.Educated mother can give a educated nation. While still women are negtected by the man in varous ways.Such as in working sector if a women can achieved higher than man nobody praise her in a positive way. Moreover, women are still demotivated by man. Now we should change our mind and give them a space to grow faster and achieve bigger for a nation.

In conclusion, still women are experiencing negative thing in their life we need encourage them rather than demotivate.Although women made remarkable strides and gained greater opportunities over the past years.full gender equality has not yet been achieved.Moving forward, societies must continue to dismantle persistent cultural biases and empower women so they can contribute to national development on an entirely equal footing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that women’s status has improved but gender equality has not been achieved. You address both change over time and continuing inequality, using examples such as restrictions on education, child marriage, and women being undervalued at work. These are relevant, but some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that women who achieve more than men are not praised could be supported with a clearer explanation or a specific example. The discussion of education also shifts toward the value of mothers educating children, rather than directly showing how this reflects equality. Develop the causes and effects of these examples more fully, and keep each point closely tied to gender equality.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from past restrictions to present-day inequalities. Linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal this progression. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “But today” introduces a contrast, while the following point about educated mothers does not clearly connect to the argument about equality. References such as “they” and “their” can also leave the reader unsure whether you mean women, girls or society. Improve progression by grouping related examples and using clearer references, then explain how each example supports the paragraph’s main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “gender equality,” “conservative society,” “restrictions,” “demotivated,” and “cultural biases.” This gives you enough range to discuss social change and discrimination, and your meaning is generally understandable. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “coservative,” “neglected,” and “strides” used in a sentence where the surrounding phrasing is awkward. Some collocations are also unnatural, such as “achieved great progress from the society” and “give them a space to grow faster.” Aim for more precise, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. For example, use “made significant progress in society” and “create opportunities for women to advance.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including contrast with “Although” and cause-and-effect links with “Therefore.” The overall meaning can usually be followed, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include “Women was,” “they doest have,” and “a women,” which show problems with subject–verb agreement and articles. Verb forms are also inaccurate in phrases such as “had done a great struggle to changed” and “if a women can achieved.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention too: the final paragraph joins “Although women made remarkable strides…” to the preceding sentence without a clear grammatical connection. Practise accurate agreement and verb patterns, and proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly punctuated structure.
