Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given statement describe that the position of women has changed a great deal in many socities over the past fifty years but mostly socities can not accept the gender equality. I agree with the given statement the position of women is changed a lot in societies over the past fifty years but many socities still not accept the equality of gender and not give importance equal as men.
As the technology improved a lot from half century it change the whole world globally. Improvement of technology make it easy to get a education like by online classes, conferences and meetings. Today every women can get her education by sitting in home by the help of fast technology called internet.
For example, fifty years before ratio of education in asia was low, as the ratio was low, women was unaware of their rights. Increasing tehcnology help a lot in women to learn how to get her rights from society. Now in Asia the women education ratio is high then mens because the government provide a school in villages to educate every child of society and the womens are more hardworker then mens.
Today if one see a workers in any area of life like in mills, industries, labs, hospitals and in universities that will find a equal ratio of men and women employee, so it proved that now a days in every sectors of life womens are equal in size with mens. But still some socities are not considered womens equal to men today because they belive on old traditions and they want to keep a womens back. These socities also put a restrictions on the women on their co-education, jobs and outings.
But my knowlege belive that today women is equal in each sector with men.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a position that women’s status has improved but gender equality has not been achieved, which responds to the central issue. The examples about education, employment, and restrictions imposed by traditional societies are relevant. However, the argument is only partially developed: the claim that women now have an equal presence across sectors is broad and unsupported with specific evidence, and it sits uneasily beside your conclusion that women are equal in each sector. The discussion also focuses more on changes in education and work than on explaining why these changes still fall short of equality. Develop the distinction between progress and full equality, and support each main point with a clear example. The 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs about education and employment, and a concluding statement. Linking expressions such as “For example,” “Today,” and “But still” help signal some relationships between ideas. However, progression is not consistently clear. The education paragraph moves from technology to rights and then to government schools without fully explaining the connections, while the employment paragraph makes a broad claim before shifting abruptly to traditional restrictions. Repeated references to “today” and “societies” also make the flow feel repetitive, and the conclusion does not clearly resolve the tension between saying women are equal in every sector and arguing that equality has not been achieved. Group related points and use clearer transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “gender equality,” “rights,” “traditions,” “co-education,” and “restrictions.” This shows some ability to discuss education, work, and social expectations. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, sometimes making the meaning less clear. For example, “equal in size with men” does not naturally describe representation, and “keep a womens back” is unclear. Spelling errors such as “socities,” “tehcnology,” and “knowlege” are also noticeable. Aim for precise phrases such as “equal representation” and “restrict women’s opportunities,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “as,” so there is some variety in structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For instance, “The given statement describe” needs subject–verb agreement, while “Improvement of technology make it easy to get a education” contains several grammatical problems. In “women was unaware,” the plural subject does not agree with the verb. Some sentences also run together or have unclear clause relationships. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses; check agreement and articles during proofreading.
