Student answer (Band 5.0)
The thesis of women has alternated through the past 50 years in varies of societies. I agree that societies still need improvement. In this essay i will write about the why environment changed how people percieve woman as well as, people who doesn't think logically and misogynistic towards woman.
In the past 50 years world has faced a numerous amount of problems such as natural disasters, famine and wars. During these hard years, world changed how they think about woman. Before the disasters everybody thought about woman as a substituite for their husband and their families. However, in war woman was taking control of their nations while the man fights for their country. In result the gender difference significantly decreased and countries became more modernized. For example, Calie Smith was an German housewife however when the war struck she took control of their town and kept them safe throughout the war. Which earned her admiral medal.
There are people in societies who thinks woman are below man, and their purpose is to serve men which is completely outdated mindset. Nowadays there are no difference between the two gender in terms of mind. There is no limit because of its gender. However they turns blind eye to that and focuses on their belief.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear general position—“I agree that societies still need improvement”—and the essay gives relevant reasons, including women taking on responsibilities during war and the persistence of misogynistic attitudes. However, the response only partially answers the question: it does not explain in enough detail how women’s position has changed across society or identify specific areas where equality remains unachieved, such as pay, leadership, or domestic responsibilities. The example of “Calie Smith” is not sufficiently explained or connected to wider evidence, and the final paragraph makes broad claims without support. The response is also 38 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop its argument. Extend each main point with a clear explanation and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic essay structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a concluding idea. The paragraphs also have identifiable topics, and transitions such as “However” and “For example” help signal contrast and illustration. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The opening moves from environmental change to perceptions of women without explaining the connection, while the war example and the claim that gender differences decreased need a clearer logical link. The second body paragraph ends abruptly, with no conclusion that brings the argument together. Some linking is also awkward, as in “In result.” Organise the essay around two clearly stated reasons, then use each paragraph to explain and support one reason before summarising your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “gender equality,” “misogynistic,” “outdated mindset,” and “modernized.” These choices show some ability to discuss social attitudes, but the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand. For example, “The thesis of women has alternated” does not express the intended change in women’s position, and “a numerous amount of problems” is not a natural phrase. Spelling errors such as “percieve” and “substituite” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural expressions and check spelling; for instance, describe women’s “status” or “social position” and say that attitudes “have changed.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple sentences and some attempts at more complex structures, including a contrast introduced by “However” and a relative clause in “which earned her admiral medal.” Nevertheless, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “people who doesn’t think,” where the verb does not agree with the plural subject, and “woman was taking control … while the man fights,” where number and tense are inconsistent. The sentence beginning “Which earned her…” is a fragment, and “In this essay i will write about the why…” has an unclear structure. Practise forming complete sentences, maintaining consistent tense, and checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation.
