Student answer (Band 5.5)
The development of woman has been a great changes since 50 decade however, the societies is not ready to accept the gender equality. Regarding my opinion, I competely agree with this statement because of the dominating nature of the people and woman being unable to freedom in this modern generation.
To begin with, there are several reasons of lacking in gender equaltiy. Firstly, the dominating nature of the people. To explain, people are tourting woman until this generation and many girls are being victim of various crimes untill now which is a great loss for the development. Secondly, lack of freedom of woman. Elaborating further, people are not giving freedom to the woman mainly in rural areas where they have a low IQ because of the less education provided to them.
Although, many areas woman are becoming a CEO of the company and getting the facilities as man get and competiting with man and wining in the various field but, in the villages, woman are not supporting others woman to become a better in the future where they are draging their feets and being jealous with each other. However, individuals should support every man and woman in every business and in any field where every person is treated as same as others and not doing discrimination.
In conclusion, gender discrimation should not be done in any area whether it can be rural and urban area. From my perspective, I believe no one should traumatised other even they are male. Every person should look and improve their behaviour and respect each others and support one another while becoming better version of own and handling alll the responsibilities effortlesy which draging others down.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is stated clearly in the introduction: you agree that gender equality has not been achieved, and the conclusion returns to the need to end discrimination. You also identify relevant concerns, including violence against women, restricted freedom in rural areas, and unequal opportunities. However, the response only partly develops the task. The point about women becoming CEOs and competing with men acknowledges progress, but it is not clearly weighed against your overall position. Some claims, such as rural women having “a low IQ,” are unsupported and risk weakening your argument. Explain specific forms of continuing inequality and support each with a relevant example; then show how these compare with the progress societies have made.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph presenting reasons, a paragraph acknowledging progress and offering a recommendation, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Firstly,” and “In conclusion” help signal this organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the discussion shifts from violence to education, then from women becoming CEOs to jealousy among women, without explaining the links. Some connectors are used awkwardly, including “Although” at the start of a sentence that does not complete the contrast, and “However” where the relationship between ideas is unclear. Group related points, use clear topic sentences, and make each example directly support the paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “gender equality,” “discrimination,” “freedom,” and “responsibilities,” and some phrases communicate your concerns. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the development of woman,” “tourting woman,” and “draging their feets” do not express the intended ideas clearly; “low IQ” is also an inappropriate and unsupported way to describe limited educational access. Spelling errors such as “competely,” “equaltiy,” and “discrimation” are noticeable. Build a more precise vocabulary for inequality and social change, and check spelling and collocations so your ideas are expressed accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “where,” and “although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “the societies is,” “woman are becoming,” and “people are not giving freedom to the woman.” The opening sentence also joins ideas without clear punctuation, while the final sentence becomes difficult to follow because several clauses are combined. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Review punctuation and agreement when editing.
