Hello,

I'm writing this letter to inform you that I read about the vacancy for the position of waitress in your national newspaper. I'm interested in the job of restaurant staff.

I have quite a good experience of two years in that field, and I believe that I'm capable of this opportunity. Right now, I'm working as a waitress in a small local shop that my relatives own. Nonetheless, I am of the opinion that I can do better. I have qualified in the degree in restaurant management.

Your restaurant is a stone's throw from my university; subsequently, I can undemandingly perform my tasks as a waitress without the stress of transportation. Furthermore, to work in substantial restaurants, I would require a certificate as part of my portfolio. I figure that this is a good chance for me to improve my skills and to build up my experience.

I assure you that I will leave no stone unturned to perform my duties as a good staff member and employee.

I'm free this weekend for an interview if you need. I am looking forward to this job.
