Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of waiter advertised in the local newspaper. I am particularly interested in this opportunity because I enjoy working with people and believe that my interpersonal skills would make me a strong candidate for the role.

I have recently completed my intermediate studies at Government College University Lahore and am currently preparing for my IELTS examination. I am looking for part-time employment that will allow me to gain valuable work experience while continuing my studies.

I believe I am well suited to this position because I am friendly, courteous and responsible. I communicate confidently with people from different backgrounds and remain calm and professional, even in demanding situations. Furthermore, I am a quick learner and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Although I have not worked as a waiter before, I am confident that I could quickly learn your restaurant’s procedures and provide customers with attentive and efficient service.

I would be delighted to attend an interview at your convenience. I am available on weekdays after 2 p.m. and can also make myself available at weekends if required.
