Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently saw an advertisement for waiters and waitresses in my local newspaper. I am interested in this role. I have completed my bachelor's degree and am currently enrolled in a master's programme. This job would help me support my living expenses.

I already have experience in the food and restaurant business and can effectively manage day-to-day tasks. I can deal with a large number of people easily and place a strong emphasis on teamwork to get things done efficiently. I also have valuable skills related to customer-facing roles, as well as good communication skills, which help me understand customers' requirements and provide them with suitable assistance.

I would be available to attend an interview after 2 p.m. on weekdays. If selected, I would be able to start work immediately.
