Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You successfully covered all parts of the prompt, addressing your current occupation, suitability, and interview availability. However, some areas remain under-developed. For instance, explaining what you are currently doing is limited to a brief statement that you are working in a local hotel, and your suitability relies on general claims rather than fully detailed examples. Your tone is also somewhat mixed, shifting between formal elements and informal phrases such as see you soon, which affects how well you sustain an appropriate register throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

Your letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear sequence of ideas, moving from the reason for writing to your background and finally to interview availability. You attempted to use cohesive devices such as Moreover and Apart from it to link your points. However, referencing is not always clear, and the paragraphing and transitions can feel slightly mechanical. Additionally, the opening and closing conventions, including Respected Sir and your's sincerely, show some lapses in standard formal letter formatting.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You demonstrated an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms related to hospitality such as advertisement, hotel, and communication skills. You also attempted some less common vocabulary, but this led to noticeable errors in word choice and form, such as exicted instead of excited, winnered instead of won, and another instead of other. While these spelling and word-choice errors do not completely impede communication, they highlight the limitations in your lexical control.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Your writing uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but your control over grammar and punctuation shows frequent errors that can cause some difficulty for the reader. There are notable issues with verb tenses and auxiliary verbs, such as I am doing working instead of I am working, and Not only i get instead of Not only do I get. Furthermore, preposition and article errors are present throughout the text, as seen in from last five years instead of for the last five years and in monday on 04 october instead of on Monday, 4 October.
