Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain that you are studying hospitality management and seeking part-time work, describe previous restaurant experience and relevant qualities, and give interview availability. The examples of taking orders, serving food, and communicating in English and Urdu make your application relevant. However, some details are less fully explained: “My managers always praised me” would be more convincing with a specific example, and “I feel more comfortable in working modern places” does not clearly explain your suitability. The response is also one word below the required minimum. Add a little more relevant detail, such as a customer-service achievement or why you want to work at this restaurant.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally clear sequence: application purpose, current studies, experience and qualities, then interview availability and closing. Paragraphing helps separate these stages, and linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “Moreover” show how points relate. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. “Moreover i also organised my CV for consideration” feels detached from the preceding availability information, and the repeated use of “and” makes some sentences read like lists. The opening and closing are recognisable, but a more conventional formal-letter layout would strengthen the overall organisation. Group related qualifications together and use transitions only where they clarify the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use an adequate range of job-related vocabulary, including “hospitality management,” “part time job,” “take orders,” “serve food,” and “punctual.” These choices make your experience and application understandable. There are also several inaccurate or unnatural expressions that limit precision, such as “strong hold in English and Urdu,” “more comfortable in working modern places,” and “organised my CV for consideration.” “Praised me in doing good job” is also an awkward collocation. Aim for natural application-letter phrases and check spelling and capitalisation, including “Lahore,” “University of Punjab,” and “I.” More precise wording will make your qualifications sound professional without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You communicate through a mix of simple sentences and some longer structures, such as the sentence explaining your studies, class schedule, and reason for seeking work. The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “where i learn” needs a past-tense verb, and “i am punctual and hardworking person” is missing an article. The sentence “I can start work immediately and honestly if selected” has an unclear structure, while capitalisation of “I” and punctuation are inconsistent. Practise accurate past-tense forms when describing previous work, articles before singular countable nouns, and clearer sentence boundaries. These corrections would improve control while preserving your useful range of sentence forms.
