Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify the purpose of the letter, mention your recent management degree, and indicate that you are available for an interview, so the reader can understand the basic application. However, the task is addressed only minimally: the response is 83 words, below the required 150, and suitability is asserted rather than explained. For example, “ready to give my best performance” does not provide evidence such as customer-service experience, relevant skills, or a specific example. The interview timing is also vague in “at anytime.” Develop each requested point with relevant detail, and state a clear, practical time or range when you could attend.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The letter has a recognisable opening, a subject line, and a closing idea, and the sequence broadly moves from applying to describing your background and availability. This gives it some organisation. However, the body is very short and the ideas are crowded into one paragraph, so there is little overall progression or development. “Furthermore” signals an addition, but the sentence that follows does not clearly connect your personality to interview availability. Use separate paragraphs for your current situation, relevant suitability, and interview arrangements, and connect each point with clear, accurate transitions. A conventional closing would also make the letter feel more complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the application, including “position,” “management,” “customers,” “serving,” and “communication.” These choices make the general topic understandable. However, the range is limited, and several inaccurate or unnatural expressions make the letter less clear, such as “I here know,” “I here by interested,” and “good personality.” Spelling errors in “bacholers” and “coporate” also affect the impression of control. Choose precise phrases commonly used in job applications, such as “I am writing to apply,” “work effectively with customers,” and “strong interpersonal skills.” Check spelling and collocations carefully before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response communicates a few basic points through short sentence forms, but the grammatical range is very limited and errors occur frequently. For example, “I here by interested” is missing the verb “am,” while “I the employee is ready” has an unclear subject and incorrect sentence structure. The phrase “as waiter” also needs an article, and the sentence about being available for an interview does not express a clear time. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use simple, accurate patterns before attempting longer sentences. Proofread for articles, verb forms, and punctuation.
