Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You make the purpose clear by saying, “I want to applying for this job,” and you include relevant details: you are a nursing student, live near the restaurant, and are available part-time. You also indicate that you can attend an interview when contacted. However, the suitability point is only briefly addressed through “some specific knowledge as waiter”; you do not explain what experience or skills you have, such as serving customers, communicating politely, or working under pressure. The interview arrangement is also vague because you do not give specific days or times. Develop these points and use a clear, appropriately formal application-letter style to address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The reader can identify the main purpose and follow the basic sequence from your current studies to your interest in the job and interview availability. However, the ideas are presented as one long block, without paragraphs or a clear opening and closing structure. Repeated links such as “So” and repeated statements that you need the job make the progression feel circular rather than organised. Some connections are also unclear, particularly “when you call me for a interview I will be ready for that,” which does not specify an interview time. Separate the letter into short paragraphs and organise it around your current situation, relevant suitability, and interview availability.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary that communicates the general purpose, including “Nursing student,” “part time,” and “documents.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and form errors make the letter less clear or less suitable for a job application. Examples include “appling,” “spicific Knowledge,” “feedback me,” and “respose.” Phrases such as “I am very thankful of you” and “specific knowledge as waiter” are not natural collocations in this context. Use more precise employment vocabulary, such as “apply for the position,” “relevant customer-service skills,” and “contact me regarding my application,” and check spelling and capitalisation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Your response relies mainly on simple sentence patterns, often joined with “and” or “so,” and there is little evidence of controlled complex structures. Errors occur frequently in sentence construction and punctuation, as in “i hope your doing well sir, With due respect My name is Rashid Khan and i am currently a Nursing student sir.” The opening also confuses “your” with “you’re,” while “when you call me for a interview” has an article error. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are inconsistent throughout. Practise writing complete sentences with clear punctuation, and check verb forms, articles, and pronouns. For example: “I am currently studying nursing and am available to work part-time.”
