Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the three requested points: you say you are a student with part-time work, give reasons you believe you are suitable, and state that you can attend an interview in two to three days. The examples of helping with kitchen and cleaning tasks at home provide some relevant support. However, the suitability claims are not always clearly connected to waiting tables, and the statement that you are “a little bit chef” is unclear. The response also lacks a clear application opening and a professional closing, and the interview timing is complicated by the explanation that you are in a village. Develop your customer-service experience and availability more clearly, and use a polite letter format.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response contains the main information in a roughly sensible order: your current situation, your claimed suitability, and your interview availability. However, it is presented as one long block, with ideas joined mainly by “and,” “because,” and “so.” This makes the progression difficult to follow, especially where the discussion moves from your childhood dream to household duties and then to offering to work in the kitchen. The ending, “that’s it” and “good bye,” also does not provide a clear, appropriate conclusion. Separate the content into short paragraphs and use clear transitions to distinguish your current work, relevant skills, and interview availability.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the task, including “part time work,” “experience,” “skills,” “interview,” and “emergency,” so the reader can identify your main points. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the message unclear or unsuitable for a job application. “Waters” appears to mean “waiters,” while “advertisment” and “capibal” are misspelled; “a little bit chef” is also not a natural expression. Repeated use of “work” and “skills” limits precision. Build a more specific set of terms for restaurant service, such as customer service, taking orders, and working under pressure, and check spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response communicates basic information through simple clauses and some attempts to link ideas with “because” and “if.” However, the sentence structures are limited, and errors are frequent enough to make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “I am currently a student an I also do a part time work” has problems with conjunctions and article use, while “my dream was to be work” has an incorrect verb pattern. The long run-on sentence beginning “I am capable for this work” also needs clearer sentence boundaries and punctuation. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled clauses, such as “I am studying and work part-time at a local shop.”
