Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main purpose by applying for a waitress position and mentioning relevant experience: you say you took a course, worked in restaurants, and are currently working at a restaurant in Lahore. You also indicate that you live locally. However, the required interview availability is not actually given. The sentence beginning “when we attend interview” describes what you would say during an interview, rather than when you can attend one. Your suitability is supported mainly by a general claim that you have “a lot of experience,” with few specific skills or examples. To strengthen the response, clearly state your available days or times and explain how your experience makes you suitable for this particular role.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a broadly understandable sequence, moving from your background to your experience and then to the interview, and words such as “Then” and “And at last” signal some progression. However, the ideas are crowded into one paragraph, and the sequence becomes confusing when you shift from applying for the job to describing what you would say at an interview. Some links are repetitive or unclear, such as “Then for few months i rest and then i went to karachi.” Organise the letter into short paragraphs for your current situation, suitability, and interview availability. Use clear transitions and make sure each sentence develops the point introduced by the previous one.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the task, including “experience,” “course,” “waitress,” and “interview,” so the reader can identify the subject of your letter. However, the range is limited, and several spelling errors or awkward word choices make parts difficult to understand, including “advertisment,” “oppournity,” “khnow,” and “facility” where you mean the job or position. Phrases such as “learn the rules as a waitress” and “take part in this facility” are not natural in this context. Build a more precise set of job-application expressions, such as “customer service,” “restaurant experience,” and “apply for the position,” and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “Before five year i completed my education. Then for few months i rest and then i went to karachi,” but control of verb forms and sentence structure is inconsistent. Errors include “I am currentely work” instead of a correct present-tense form, “i completed” without consistent capitalisation, and “when we attend interview” where the intended meaning and tense are unclear. Articles and plurals are also often missing, as in “many restaurant” and “a advertisment.” Most sentences rely on simple patterns, and errors sometimes make the timeline or meaning difficult to follow. Practise accurate past and present forms, articles, and complete sentence structures before adding more complex clauses.
