Assalam o Alaikum!

My name is Zarmeena Kanwal.Last week I saw a post on local newspaper and I found that you had placed an advertisement for waiters. So I want to tell you that I am very interesting. I want to do work with you in your company. I am a student and Currently I am studying in university and I am also doing part time job to pay my fees and other expenses. I have a lot of experience in this field not only this field I can also communicate easily with people.I think i am very suitable for this job because I have many skills related to this.My interest shows that I am elligible for this post.

As I already tell that I am student and I am doing part time job in a small company so in my routine I am very busy. if I leave my classes in a day then my teachers will punish me , and also if I will not go on a job even in a single day they will cut my sallery. so I am free on weekend but i know you will not free on weekend so I can come to give you interview.I hope you will be happy when you will meet with me.

Thank you!

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You make a clear attempt to apply for the waiter position and cover the three requested points: you explain that you are a university student with a part-time job, mention experience communicating with people, and discuss interview availability. However, suitability is asserted rather than supported: “I have a lot of experience in this field” gives no examples of duties or customer-service skills. The interview point is also unclear. You say you are free at weekends, then assume the restaurant will not be free, without offering a definite time or asking the employer to suggest one. Develop these details and use a suitably formal application-letter tone to address the task more fully and clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a broadly understandable order, moving from the application and current studies to suitability and availability. However, ideas are crowded into long blocks, and the progression becomes difficult to follow in the final section. The explanation about being busy, missing classes, and having salary deducted distracts from the key point about interview times. Some links are repetitive or awkward, such as “So I want to tell you” and “As I already tell.” Use separate paragraphs for your current situation, relevant experience, and interview availability, and connect each point directly to the purpose of the letter. This would make the organisation clearer and reduce the need for the reader to infer your meaning.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “student,” “part time job,” “experience,” and “communicate.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the letter sound unnatural or occasionally unclear. For example, “I am very interesting” does not express that you are interested in the job, while “do work with you in your company” is an awkward way to describe employment. “Sallery” and “elligible” are misspelled, and “this field” is repeated without specifying relevant experience. Choose precise employment and customer-service vocabulary, and check spelling and common word combinations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences using clauses and reasons, for example, “if I leave my classes in a day then my teachers will punish me,” but these structures are often difficult to control. Tense and conditional forms are inconsistent in “if I will not go on a job,” and the sentence about weekend availability combines ideas without a clear grammatical relationship. There are also errors in articles, sentence boundaries, and capitalisation, as in “local newspaper,” “Currently,” and “Zarmeena Kanwal.Last week.” Most meaning remains recoverable, but these recurring problems reduce accuracy. Practise forming clear simple sentences first, then use accurate conditionals and punctuation to join related ideas.
