Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the three requested points: you explain that you currently work as a waiter, describe your ten years of experience and supervisory responsibility, and give a proposed interview date. These details make your application relevant and show useful experience. However, the suitability explanation is brief, and the interview availability is limited to one date rather than offering flexibility. The closing also shifts to personal difficulty finding work instead of reinforcing your interest in the role. The response contains 140 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 150. Develop your qualifications with a specific example and add a little more detail about your availability and enthusiasm.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The information follows a broadly sensible order: you introduce yourself, describe your current work and experience, then state when you can attend an interview. However, the response is presented as one continuous block, without paragraphs to separate these stages. Several ideas are joined with full stops or commas in ways that make the progression difficult to follow, particularly the shift from your experience to living near the restaurant and then to your request for the job. The final comments about other applicants and difficulty finding work also weaken the focus of the ending. Use a clear opening, one paragraph for qualifications, and a concise closing; connect related points with accurate linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant job-related vocabulary, including “waiter,” “experience,” “head of all the waiters,” and “interview,” so the reader can understand the purpose of the letter. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings are inaccurate, which makes the application sound less natural. For example, “waitering” is not the usual term for the work, “advertise” should be expressed as “advertisement,” and “hiere” is misspelled. Phrases such as “do best for you” and “took work” are also unclear or unidiomatic. Build a more professional vocabulary for applications, such as “apply for the position,” “supervise the team,” and “contribute to your restaurant.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The message is understandable, and you attempt to combine information in longer sentences, for example when describing your experience and your role among the waiters. However, sentence structures are mostly simple, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement, and punctuation occur frequently enough to make parts awkward to read. Examples include “I am think,” “I want to took work,” and “I hope you will accepte”; these need forms such as “I think,” “I would like to work,” and “I hope you will accept.” Capitalisation and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “My name is Mohsin Abbas.I live.” Practise accurate present and past forms, and proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
