Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify the purpose of the letter and mention two relevant points: you have restaurant experience and can attend an interview next week. However, the response addresses the task only partially. It does not explain what you are currently doing, and your suitability is asserted rather than supported: “I know how to deal the customers” gives no specific example of your skills or experience. The interview timing is also vague, with no particular day or time. The response is 103 words, below the required 150, so there is not enough detail to develop the requested points. Add your current study or work situation, describe relevant duties or customer-service strengths, and offer specific interview availability.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter has a recognisable sequence: an opening, reasons for applying, a statement about experience, interview availability, and a closing. This basic organisation helps the reader follow your purpose. However, the ideas are compressed into a single block, and the progression between them is limited. The opening “Hope so you are doing great” does not connect smoothly to the application, while “because i need this job” shifts quickly from motivation to suitability. Use separate paragraphs for your current situation, relevant experience, and interview availability. Clear links such as “In addition” or “Regarding an interview” would make the relationships between points easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a small set of relevant words, including “applying,” “customers,” “experience,” and “interview,” so the general purpose is understandable. However, the vocabulary is limited and several spelling or word-choice errors make the letter less clear or less professional, including “duites,” “beacuse,” “reastuarant,” and “act of kindness.” Some phrases are also unnatural for a job application, such as “build my confidence to interact with customers” and “deal the customers.” Choose more precise service-related language and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe yourself as “confident when assisting customers” and refer to “previous restaurant experience” rather than relying on broad claims.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response mainly uses short, simple statements, with a few attempts to join ideas using “because” and “and.” These structures communicate the basic message, but the range is limited and errors occur frequently. Examples include “myself zaheer i am applying,” which needs clearer sentence boundaries and capitalisation, and “i had a experiance,” where the article and verb form are inaccurate. “I can better perform my duites their” also has an unclear grammatical construction. Practise forming complete sentences with accurate articles, verb forms, and punctuation. For instance: “I have previous restaurant experience and can provide friendly, efficient service to customers.”
