Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify the purpose of the letter and provide relevant background: you have completed secondary education and hotel-management training, have customer-service experience, and are seeking work. These details begin to show your suitability. However, the response does not fully address the task: it gives no time or date when you can attend an interview, and your current situation is only vaguely stated as “Nowadays i am looking for a job.” The salary discussion takes space without explaining how your experience would help you serve restaurant customers. Develop each requested point directly, especially your availability and relevant skills, and close with a clear request for an interview.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The letter has a recognisable application purpose, and the ideas about education, experience, and employment are broadly related to the job. However, they are presented in one long block, so the reader has to work to distinguish your background from your reasons for applying. Connections between ideas are also unclear: “since i went to after that i did in supermarket” does not establish a clear sequence, and the repeated statements that you would be a good employee do not move the letter forward. Use separate paragraphs for your current situation, relevant experience and suitability, and interview availability. Arrange details in a clear order and use simple linking phrases to show how each point relates to the application.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to employment and hospitality, including “hotel management,” “customer dealing,” “salary,” and “employee,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several choices or spellings make the letter less clear or natural, such as “wiater,” “costumer dealer,” and “drawn the salary.” Some phrases are repeated, particularly “best waiter” and “best employee,” rather than using more precise descriptions of service skills. Choose standard job-application expressions and accurate hospitality terms. For example, describe your experience as customer service and explain that you handled customer enquiries or transactions; this would communicate your suitability more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “As i have completed the course…” and “because,” but sentence structures are often incomplete or difficult to follow. The opening “Hello Sir I have seen…” runs several clauses together without appropriate punctuation, while “since i went to after that i did in supermarket” has an unclear grammatical sequence. Verb forms and sentence patterns also need attention, as in “i applying for the job” and “i have donecourse.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent throughout. Practise writing complete sentences with one main idea each, check subject–verb forms and articles, and use full stops to separate information. This will make your meaning easier to follow.
