Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main purpose by applying for the waiter position, describing your current situation and relevant experience, and giving a time when you are available for an interview. The communication-skills course and previous work as a salesperson and waiter are relevant points. However, some details are unclear or insufficiently developed: “My background job is the smaller.sales man” does not explain the work clearly, and the gym reference is not convincingly connected to serving customers. The interview availability is also confusing because “4 Am o clock to 3 PM” gives a very broad and unusual time range. State your current activity precisely, explain how your experience prepares you for restaurant work, and give a clear interview date or time. A more appropriate formal greeting and closing would also strengthen the application.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response follows a generally understandable order: it introduces the application, mentions experience and personal qualities, and ends with interview availability. This gives the reader a basic sense of the purpose. However, progression between ideas is uneven, and several sentences are difficult to follow, particularly the passage beginning “As you know that I have communication skill” and the explanation about joining the gym. The paragraphs are not clearly separated by topic, while links such as “so that” and “And” do not always show the relationship between ideas accurately. Organise the letter into clear paragraphs for the application and current situation, relevant experience and suitability, and interview availability. Use straightforward transitions and make each sentence develop one main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the job, including “waiter,” “restaurant,” “communication skill,” and “customer,” so the reader can identify your intended role and strengths. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling, word-choice, and collocation problems make parts of the letter difficult to understand. Examples include “stuiable,” “samll,” “peove,” and “I granted to you”; phrases such as “background job” and “builds my body healthy” are also unnatural. These issues sometimes obscure your meaning rather than simply making the style less polished. Learn common expressions for job applications and describe your experience with precise terms, such as “previous restaurant experience” and “serve customers.” Proofreading spelling and choosing natural word combinations would improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to communicate several connected ideas, including reasons you are suitable and when you can attend an interview, but the sentence structures are mostly simple and control is inconsistent. Errors in sentence boundaries, verb forms, articles, and agreement occur throughout. For example, “I recently completed my communication skill course” needs a more accurate article or plural form, while “I can also want to you inform” combines incompatible verb patterns. “I work very smartly” also needs a suitable conditional form after “if you hire me.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, as in “I am 20 years old boy.I” and “i.” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” or “if.” This will make your meaning easier to follow.
