Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main purpose by applying for the waiter position and giving relevant reasons for your suitability, including two years’ experience, an employee-of-the-year award, and good relationships with customers. You also explain that you are currently working at another restaurant and state that Saturday is when you can attend an interview. However, some details are unclear or underdeveloped: “I will be there for interview once in week on saturday” does not specify a particular Saturday or time, and the current job situation could be explained more clearly. The letter would be more complete with a direct, confident statement of availability and a clearer explanation of how your experience prepares you for this restaurant.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable sequence: it introduces the application, describes work experience, explains suitability, and ends with interview availability. Paragraph breaks help separate these points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and several ideas are joined without clear links. For example, the sentence about the award, good pay, difficulty travelling, and seeing the advertisement combines several points that would be clearer as separate sentences. Phrases such as “so” and “and” are used repeatedly, while the relationship between “your requirements” and the applicant’s qualifications is not fully explained. Use clearer paragraphing and more precise transitions to make the letter easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “experience,” “award,” “excellent service,” and “customers,” so the reader can understand your main qualifications. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less clear or less professional, such as “resrarant,” “news paper,” “employe,” “eligibilty,” and “add.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “personal customers” and “support my work.” Aim for accurate, conventional expressions used in job applications, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you describe your service skills and customer relationships without changing the meaning of your ideas.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “I Yasir writing” instead of a complete present-tense introduction, “Your requirements meets” with incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “they also gives me” with an incorrect verb form. Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic in phrases such as “apply for job vacancy” and in the long sentence beginning “I had two years experience.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly with “i,” “Im,” and comma placement. Practise accurate present and past forms, agreement, articles, and separating connected ideas into complete sentences.
