Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the three requested points: you explain that you work at a wedding hotel, describe customer-facing and food-service experience, and say Wednesday is available for an interview. These details make the application relevant, but some are brief or unclear—for example, “I gained how to interact with people” does not clearly explain what you learned, and your suitability would be stronger with a specific example of serving customers or working under pressure. The response is also three words below the required minimum, so it does not meet the task’s length instruction. Add a little detail about your current duties and experience, and close with a more formal application statement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The ideas follow a generally sensible order: you introduce the advertisement, describe your current work and qualities, then give your interview availability and close. However, the response is presented as one continuous paragraph, so the application would be easier to follow with a greeting, a paragraph about your experience, and a separate closing. Linking words such as “In addition” and “moreover” help connect points, but “moreover” is repeated and sometimes joins ideas awkwardly. For example, the sentence about being meticulous, determined, and courageous could be connected more naturally to a specific work example. Use fewer, more precise transitions and clearer paragraphing to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of job-related vocabulary, including “assistant of chef,” “communication skills,” “taking orders,” and “allergies,” which helps convey relevant experience. There are also attempts at more descriptive language, such as “meticulous” and “determined.” Some choices are unnatural or imprecise, however: “chit-chat with people” is too informal for a job application, and “clear any inquiries” is not the usual expression. “Having place for waiters” and “one of the best restaurant” also weaken the professional tone and precision. Choose conventional application language and accurate collocations, such as “vacancies for waiters,” “respond to customer enquiries,” and “one of the best restaurants.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including the clause beginning “which means” and the participle phrase “helping him meet the demand of customers.” The main message remains understandable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation are noticeable. Examples include “Im” without an apostrophe, “their won’t” instead of “there won’t,” and “one of the best restaurant,” where the noun should be plural. The sentence “At this hotel, I gained how to interact with people making my communication skills meet the standards” is also difficult to follow because its clauses are not connected clearly. Proofread for apostrophes and agreement, and use shorter, well-formed sentences when expressing several ideas.
