Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the three requested points: you say you are studying and working part-time in a café, give relevant reasons for your suitability, and state when you can attend an interview. However, these points are only briefly covered, so the application feels under-developed. For example, “I enjoy interacting with people” and “I am also reliable, punctual and honest” would be stronger with a specific example from your café work. The response is also 44 words below the required minimum, which limits how fully you can explain your experience and availability. Develop each point with relevant detail, such as your duties, customer-service experience, and a specific interview time.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The information follows a sensible order: you introduce your application, describe your current situation and suitability, give your availability, and close politely. This makes the letter easy to follow overall. However, it is presented as one continuous paragraph, and the transitions between ideas are limited; the list of personal qualities follows the café experience without much explanation of how they connect. Use separate paragraphs for your current work and suitability, then availability and closing. Linking phrases such as “In addition to my experience” or “Regarding an interview” would make the progression clearer without making the letter sound mechanical.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for a job application, including “part time job,” “customer services,” “food handling,” “punctual,” and “interview.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your experience and qualities. However, the range is limited, and several spelling or word-choice errors reduce accuracy, including “postion,” “agined,” “relieable,” and “dicuss.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “handle customer friendly” and “Thank you for considerung my application.” Use more precise expressions such as “assist customers courteously” and “thank you for considering my application,” and proofread spelling carefully. Adding specific work-related vocabulary would also help describe your café duties more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
Your response communicates its main points through mostly simple sentence patterns, with some attempts to combine ideas, such as the sentence beginning “Currently, I am completing my studies.” However, there are several errors in sentence construction, capitalization, and punctuation. For example, “I believe i am perfect for this role as i enjoy interacting with people, handle customer friendly” shifts awkwardly between verb forms and does not form a clear parallel structure. Capitalize “I” throughout, and separate the opening clauses with appropriate spaces and punctuation. Try a clearer structure such as “I enjoy interacting with people and have learned to serve customers professionally.” More accurate sentence patterns and a few well-controlled complex sentences would improve clarity.
